The reaction to that Ospina save in the first half was hilarious. People seem to have completely forgotten that he's actually a very very good goalkeeper

He made 9 saves today, the most by an Arsenal goalkeeper in a match since Fabianksi made 9 against Liverpool in 2009.

Yo jlm - saw your comment about the ref.

Apart from not sending off Dier, I legit thought he handled the game perfectly and should be applauded. Thought he was incredibly fair for both teams and I didn't think anything but the Dier second yellow miss, and maybe to an extent when Lamela was an absolute grubby cheat with the Sanchez ordeal (which i blame the linesman more for tbh, but understand how hard it would have been to realise both players prob should have been given a yellow) were basically the only things I thought he got wrong. Superb game from him imo.

What did you see that makes you consider him to have "bottled it"?

That would have been lamela's second yellow too, but I don't think even Sanchez deserved a card for that moment.

Dier was a clear second yellow. Ref tried to make up for it by not carding an arsenal player later on for a similar hold that the commentator said would have meant a sending off too. Overall the ref was great especially after an evening watching the HAL

Next 5 games are crucial.

We have West Brom (H), Everton (A), Watford (H), West Ham (A) and Crystal Palace (H)
Sp*rs have Villa (A), Bournemouth (H), Liverpool (A), United (H) and Stoke (A)

No point looking at Leicester's fixtures atm, just have to win our games, hope they drop pts and try and be within touching distance come their tough-ish run in. We really should be aiming to win 5/5 home games and at least 3/4 away games.

I reckon whatr saved Dier was that Giroud had his hand his head.

Ok I really really like Elneny. Has to be first choice in the middle with Coq for the rest of the season or until Santi is ready again

Mertesacker might be back, Gabriel I think was just precautionary, Koscielny should be back and I wouldn't be starting Ramsey anyway.

It's just CB that might be an issue on Sunday depending on who's fit because I assume Bellerin will come back in at RB and Monreal will start at LB, leaves Chambers free to fill in at CB if need be. Midfield and upfront is fine.

It's sad that Arsene's time at the club will end like this, but he has no one but himself to blame. Unless we by some fucking divine intervention win the league, this season will rank as the worst in Arsene's time at the club imo regardless of what pts or what position we finish in.

Good news is he's off to another major tournament in the summer and then another one the summer after that and then the summer after that and then the summer after that. 2020 will be the first summer Alexis has off ffs.

I've always been firmly on the 'Wenger will be the one who decides when time is up' bandwagon, but really feels like if he doesn't decide this season should be his last then he doesn't deserve the right to make the decision.

I'm not necessarily Wenger out, but for discussions sake what managers would be available?

Would Simeone see it as a step sideways/down? Sampaoli doesn't have a proven record at club level. Koeman's still raw, Martinez? Although he's doing disappointingly with the squad at his disposal. Loew's contract expires with Germany after the Euro's and would be a top top top acquisition.

Alexis is causing us some serious problems at the moment. I mean we're much worse with him in the side at the moment, but it's not like we have many other options. If Rambo were fit I'd be starting him on the right, Campbell on the left and Welbz upfront
