It's become a routine now. Arsenal completely dominate proceedings to start off the game, ambivalent attacking and crappy finish means they wait until about the 40-50th minute for their first shot on target, by which time the opponents have probably already scored at least one or two, only scoring after about 85 minutes of shit before realising that they're actually playing a game of football and finally turn it on for the last five to ten minutes, lose the game, go on Twitter and apologise for not getting a result, rinse and repeat. Fuck me.
For the first time, but certainly not the last, I began to believe that Arsenals moods and fortunes somehow reflected my own. - Hornby

sydneycroatia58 wrote:Alexis is causing us some serious problems at the moment. I mean we're much worse with him in the side at the moment, but it's not like we have many other options. If Rambo were fit I'd be starting him on the right, Campbell on the left and Welbz upfront He needs to start on the right, he doesn't have the ability to play on the left. A lot of misinformation about his form last season, but he was practically a second striker through the middle with Welbeck upfront, not out on the left. On the right he's much more unpredictable. Alexis on the right, Welbeck upfront and a playmaker/winger hybrid (Someone to do the role that Nasri did for us, potentially thats Wilshere) is whats needed.

I wonder how he would go tbh ? National team he has cream of the crop at his disposal. Much time for preparation. Whereas week in week out - Cup games etc would really test his ability. He's been living the life since '04 - why would you put yourself through the grind lol..........

Sad it when you guys beat us 3-0 this season. Walcott should have been sold on the spot. The way he chose to put that effort in during that game just shows how much he doesn't put in every other week.

Last night showed once again the difference between him and someone like Welbeck. They come on at the same time, team in a hole, for the last 20 minutes you couldn't go 30 seconds without noticing Welbeck, whereas you'd be forgiven for thinking Theo wasn't even on the pitch. There are 3 players I feel sorry for from last night, Joel Campbell, Welbeck and Ozil especially Ozil and Campbell. They both deserve better, giving their absolute all and get fucking shit in return. As long as you try as a player I will back you to the fucking hilt, but once you give up you're dead to me. It's why I wasn't unhappy with the derby result, because unlike the United game, at least they put in a performance with some heart. Not asking for miracles here. Could explain why he isn't getting into the game.

Just did a quick skim and it seems like Sp*rs have the harder run home now.
I don't care about any trophy, I don't care about who wins the league, all I care about is finish above Sp*rs ffs.

I'm glad people are finally realising walcott is hugely overated. I've been sick of him for a while now. I want Wenger to step down but I'm afraid because the bigger problem like I've been saying for years has been Kronke and Gazidis. With these two clowns here we won't be able to attrack any decent manager who can come in and perform with a limited budget. I just wish Kronke would fuck off and sell to Usmanov.

Some players just can't keep coming back though. Walcott had a bad run of injuries. Look and Van Der Vaart for us, in his last season he was injured a shit load and just looked awful when he came back. Might be time to cash in on Walcott. Could be best for both player and club.

I'd be happy with any amount for him at the moment tbh. Not far away from being like that with Jack either, although admittedly his problems he can't do a whole lot about.

Jack is done. Should have taken whatever City were willing to splash out for him at the start of the season.

It's becoming pretty clear that this club is completely fucked and going nowhere as long as the current ownership group is in charge. We've now ceased to be a football club and have become a business.

You have Everton (A) Watford (H) West Ham (A) Palace (H) West Brom (H) Sunderland (A) Norwich (H) City (A) Villa (H) Everton, West Ham and City will all be difficult plus Sunderland and Norwich will be fighting to avoid the drop. We have Bournemouth (H) Liverpool (A) United (H) Stoke (A) West Brom (H) Chelsea (A) Southampton (H) Newcastle (A) Liverpool, United and Chelsea willl be difficult plus Newcastle fighting the drop and Stoke a difficult place to go. Relatively even IMO.

We are the masters of the creditable 2nd leg performance
Not too disappointed, no shame in losing to a side like Barca. Great to see Elneny get his first goal and a great one at that. Iwobi another bright spot and should definitely be in the side regularly from here on in.
Only changes I'd make for Everton would be Coquelin in for Flamini, front 4 all stay the same with Alexis on the right which makes us look a lot more balanced.
Like I said the other day, 9 cup finals now. Just have to win our games and hope things fall our way.

I don't think Alexis should start against Everton. He's been piss poor and for some reason he's still our 'outlet' - whenever we're in trouble, we pass to him and he loses it.
Campbell deserves a start for mine.

Alexis needs to have an extended break on the bench. Would do him a world of good.show him that everyone isnt a guaranteed start.

Campbell deserves a start for mine. I'm willing to give him a few more games on the right to try and get out of this severe funk he's in. Looked better this morning on the right.
