Campbell deserves a start for mine. I'm willing to give him a few more games on the right to try and get out of this severe funk he's in. Looked better this morning on the right. Still f*cked up about 3 chances - his night was summed up at the end when he instead of passing to a free Ozil he took the shot when 2 defenders were in front of him.

So what you're saying is he's the perfect Arsenal player? ;) I mean can't really give him too much shit about this game considering everyone fucked up chances. 20 shots and just 3 on target says it all. I just can't see how Wenger doesn't start campbel. I really can't understand it. I'm also of the opinion like many others that Sanchez should be switched to the right or atleast change from right to left during the game.

Campbell can only really work from the right since he's not really a winger or natural wide player. So if you want Sanchez on the right there's no real room for Campbell.

Actually I do see Campbell as a winger more then a striker anyday of the week. I agree he's better on the right but I still don't see why he doesn't start considering Wenger plays Sanchez on the left. Also I think they could both swap throughout the game. I've been over Walcott for a very very long time now and simply don't understand how he's been ahead of Campbell lately. As for upfront I really don't have a strong favorite between Giroud and Wellbeck. For me that's the hard decision because I'm probably leaning more towards Wellbeck to start with Giroud playing big part off the bench early in the second half but again I could easily go the other way too.

If you ever wonder why players throw themselves to the ground, Sanchez not getting a penalty has just answered why they do.

Great win and performance. Now for Spurs and Leicester to drop points, Chelsea to win and City/Utd to draw and it will be a perfect weekend

Iwobi is a player who in 5 years will have England kicking themselves for missing out on.

Di Marzio (reliable Italian Journo) reporting that we're very keen on Alvaro Morata and that it's likely Madrid will activate his buy back clause and then make him available for sale.

Bild saying that a deal for Granit Xhaka is 'practically done' and that Arsene met Xhaka's family in Germany last week.

Please tell me he isn't a central midfielder and one who can take shots at goal from outside the box instead of another who only likes to walk the ball into the net.

He is a central midfielder, one who is more defensive minded. Couldn't tell you about his shooting habits.

Jack back in full training is great, hopefully we can get a few games out of him before the end of the season before he goes and gets injured at the Euros.
Cech back in full training as well and might be a chance for tonight. Santi is running but a few weeks away, so season effectively over for him.

 the stories about a supposed Arsenal target looking for a house in London have started. This time it's Mkhitaryan who is apparently house hunting.

Easy, finally Wenger through the force of injury and or tactical change has replaced Mertersacker, Ramsey, Giroud and Walcott for Gabriel, El Neny, Wellbeck, and Iwobi. That's 4 positive changes from the starting 11 that went through a patch of shit form a few weeks back now. Just wish Wenger was quicker to react and had more faith in the full squad. I must admit Iwobi came as a complete surprise to me as I had no idea about him till the end of this season but as for the others I'd been calling for them for weeks with Walcott off for Campbell instead of Iwobi. Now that I've seen Iwobi I would have to say Walcott has dropped further down the pecking order for me.

Now that I've seen Iwobi I would have to say Walcott has dropped further down the pecking order for me. It's really not that easy. Gabriel and Welbeck were both starting regularly in the middle of our shit run of form a few weeks ago. Welbeck has started 4 of the last 6 games since he came back from injury and Gabriel has started 7 of the last 9 games. Walcott started 1 game during our bad run of form and didn't even come off the bench in the derby so I'd hardly count him as part of the lineup during that run a few weeks ago. Iwobi and Elneny are the only 2 players you listed who weren't starting regularly during that bad run of form. Edited by sydneycroatia58: 4/4/2016 10:14:45 PM
