So after all the optimism about NESV it seems Mill Financial look to be leading the race.

Mill Financial are just opportunistic douchebags a la Hicks & Gillett. We'll be in exactly the same boat with them.

1.01pm: "Are H&G not in contempt of court by going and getting the injunction in the US? Seems to me that Judge Floyd is going to give them a rocket this afternoon at the very least for not revealing that they were planning on taking action in the US." asks Mark Teuten via email.

I know that most Man U fans feel our pain - but at least you have dirty, scummy Yanks that have put a few bob into the club.

2.14pm: QC Snowden speaking for RBS: "Judge made verdict in Texas on basis of no evidence and solely on what was told to him."
It is claimed that H&G tried at the Dallas injunction appeal to make sure that it could be contested in the High Court in London. But the Texas judge did not agree to that, Sachin texts from outside court 18.
isn't by doing this holding the British High Court in contempt

Well basically, I just don't know who is in the better position at the moment for the sale of Liverpool. Or who are even bidding. What will happen etc etc.
Everything really.

Everything really. Okay that is somewhat up in the air because i'm sure there are bidders who are still private bidders and aren't in media circles... BUT Lim/Meriton is still holding tight but he seems to be on the outer even though he is offering more cash, then there is Mill who owns half of Gillett's share after he defaulted on a loan who own the Washington Redskins, its really an unknown quantity could be alright but could be just the same as G&H... New England said last night before the injunction that the LFC Board and NESV have a binding agreement, he's 2/3 way through the fit and proper test with the PremierLeague and is expected to finish that soon... RBS loans are due back tomorrow but will 'probably' hold out while there still involved with court proceedings as the injunction includes RBS... It's unknown what will happen really because you don't know what H&G will do, we thought that we had it done yesterday, this in all likely hood is a stop gap while they get something bigger organised, it could be the last case or the 2nd of a few... NESV look good because we SHOULD win these court cases (it also doesn't help them that H&G lawyers hasn't turned up to court as yet ;) )... stay confident because Broughton is confident, we've got a top QC and RBS is with us on this so i think we'll be okay, but it may take abit longer, but as MB says "Keep the Faith"

Peter Lim "not able to proceed with intention to acquire club after "ignored" by board.
part of G&H plan... trying to make Broughton look negligent that he didn't look at every option, dodgey to the hilt

Lim was a plant by Hicks to attempt to discredit MB, RBS & the LFC board.
