Thank you Swansea!

That was United's easiest game in the run home and they blew it. They and Crystal Palace have both, in the past 24 hours, highlighted what was wrong for LFC last weekend- they were overconfident and dropped points at home in a game they assumed they could coast in.

3 points against Watford just got even bigger...

Well, that isn't too bad a finish, I'll take that.
One thing is for sure both manchester clubs are just as inconsistent or worse.
We have a slim chance.

Lovren has signed an extended stay...like I'm not so sure about this but I suppose Kloppy is just locking in for continuity at this stage.

CH, the logical way is win these last 4 and its left to the other 2 to respond BUT I'm feeling that won't happen :(
Its a knife edge imo for the 3 of us, one slip and the door is half shut.

I reckon LFC will get 3 wins and a draw from these final four games. That's 10 points total for a final haul of 76 points.

The Stalemate in Manchester this morning works well in Liverpool's favour. Taking a look at United's run home and the only "easy" game they have left appears to be Swansea at OT this weekend. Besides that they've got the distraction of Europa League and a depleted side. On form I'd put City below Liverpool, but they're 3 points ahead with an easy run home from here as well. If LFC could somehow finish above City then I reckon  they'll be locked in for the top 4.

Stoke have always been tuff for us for as long as I've known but stats say otherwise....
I think that 6-1 drubbing back in 2015 haunts us recent times.
Brom, similar stats our way but closer games, not many convincing wins.
Watford last 5 games  - 3 wins, 1 loss 1 draw....earlier this year 0-0, 2016 3nil win to us, 2015 watford 3nil.

Our run left is
Watford A - 10th safe. I expect a bounce back win.
Southampton H - 9th safe. Tuff but should be a win.
Hammers A - 14th safe. they will be riding on pride and have had us more than I'd like, last 3 league games are in their favour plus FAcup win. I can't pick it.
Boro H - 19th relegation. If this isn't a win we deserve nothing.

Pretty well summed up CH.
I'm sure as many like me just get pissed we can't keep the wins turning over at this present important stage.
The last 2wks have been great to finally win those other "bogie" games no doubt about it.
Palace have been a bogie since after Luis left, I just don't know why we struggle every single time against teams who sit back on us but I degress easy being a keyboard warrior.
We must get those points against watford whilst the 2 below us have 2 games to deal with in quick succession.

I actually think Watford are the most difficult of the games left, like Palace they're a mid-table side who are capable of knocking off bigger teams. I was more concerned about dropping points against Stoke and WBA- both "sit back and defend" teams.

Cue the usual weeping and gnashing of teeth over on the official FB page. Nonsense like "We won't even finish top 10" and "There goes the CL- lucky to have Europa League next season"...

It's amazing how quickly people forget the previous two weeks where this team got 6 points on the road in fixtures they would've struggled with not so long ago. Or that, in the past month, Palace have taken all three points from the League leaders and schooled Arsenal. They're not exactly relegation battlers...

The biggest rivals for CL right now are United and Arsenal. Arsenal? Their problems are well-documented, they lose too many games and I can't see them applying the consistent pressure that they'd need to finish with wind in their sails and grab the CL spot/s up for grabs. United have played well of late- but their #1 striker is gone, they have a crowded fixture coming up AND they've got Spurs, Arsenal and City all to come- away from OT. They've gone 20-odd games undefeated, but in that time they've climbed a single place on the ladder. Like us back in 2008-09, they've had too many draws and (again like us, in 2013-14), there's too much from here on that needs to fall in their favour for them to reach their ultimate goal. Although stranger things have happened, and f**k me if the planets haven't conveniently aligned for that lot time and time and time again over the past quarter of a century...

Anyway, bias aside? I think LFC will slot into the CL qualifications. Apart from the shit run in January, they've got the points more often than not this season and taking a look at their run home, I imagine this mornings' game will serve as a wake-up call from Klopp and a reminder that if the players want CL football, they've got to play like they want it.

If he'd passed to Sturridge he could have banged it top corner from 35 yards out and it wouldn't have mattered since Sturridge was offside the whole time. Like I said, he made the 2nd best decision since it was either going to go in or go out for a goal kick which just wastes time and makes Foster have to come all the way back.

haha, yer well that true as much I hate to be against one of our own - I dislike his goal routine much so at least we didn't get to see that but I still would have liked that chance bagged.

Selfish play there by Moreno- he had an unmarked goal and a team mate either side of him who could've made it a sure thing and instead had to go for glory and take a shot that proved completely useless.

He actually made the 2nd best decision in shooting and not passing to the idiot that is Daniel Sturridge. Could argue he should have passed to Can, but not sure Moreno ever saw him.

it was never going to be easy but a very controlled game nonetheless.
Fugly thats for sure. Milners sitter, this just made it harder and kept giving them hope.
Moreno gets on last minutes and proves even more we need to shift him - seriously the way we hung on last moments to be presented with that golden chance I shake my head.
Bagged the points.

The minutes to this game dragged by...the most interesting part of the game was the last 10 minutes.....but a win is a win is a win and considering (as I type this) Zlatan has been dropped for their clash with Chelsea, this mornings' result could well be pivotal.

We need to keep that winning feeling !!!!! v's Brom.
Every game is huge and Brom will sit deep waiting for us, without Sane another challenge but the brazillians have to do it for us fingers crossed.
Spurs at home vsing Bournemouth first up, looking likely a Spurs win BUT never know, love a draw.
City will do it hard against the Black Kats at home, big result for us even a draw would be good enough.
A draw at OT ? be nice :)
Boro to give arse a huge test needing points in the relegation battle. Its over for arse but to save face and prepare for Europa in a long long time.

Yes sir ! I have pre sale advise being a SFC member :)

Nice back from behind win against Stoke - another bogey team of ours.
Glad Kloppy sent out the Brazilians for the 2nd half changed the game for us.
Congrats Coutinho - highest scoring Brazilian in the EPL now.

Every single game counts now to the end for all.
Last round really went our way as long as you bank the 3points.
Losing Mane is a huge loss for us - not sure yet how long out :( more pressure now on Firmino and Coutinho to keep fit and perform.
We need Lallana and Hendo back pronto - even Sturridge may get a chance to step up the coming weeks.

This saturday night sees the Reds hosting the Bitters in the Merseyside Derby. Kickoff is 1030pm, the match is LIVE on Optus and SBS.
These games at such a great kickoff time are a great opportunity to get along to an LFC NSW venue and watch the game with your fellow Reds.
LFC NSW will also be collecting donations for Heartbeat of Football at selected venues, and there will be a prize draw at halftime for those who donated.

Well, the point was better than nothing but doesn't place us in any better position tbh.
city and spurs have a game in hand whereas that crowd + arse behind us have 2 in hand.
its anyboys race when thinking about the last 3 spots till the end it seems.
Its looking likely the gooners will be more hot and cold than any of us therefore the toffees could well get over them as well as long as everyone keeps winning that is.

Bravo Burnley and with only 10 men most of the 2nd half :)

Just as they questioned the Fox players of last weeks performance you got to wonder about us.
A sound win typically against a top 6 club.
Can we beat Burnley next week ?????
