with Suarez now coming we are strengthening our squad significantly, however if Torres leaves we are in no better position than we were prior to Suarez coming, probably worse off with El Nino going . . .

I hope that after the January transfer window he committs to the club, but not only that the club proves they are heading the right way, which will require investment in the playing stocks

I also hope King Kenny stays on for longer and proves himself over rest of premierleague season

Carroll is going nowhere. We just rejected a 30m bid from a top 6 team why would we accept a bid from a team fighting for the same positions as us for the same money.

No they do because Torres could play ECL for any team he enjoyed. It depends if Suarez was registered in Ajax squad when they submitted it to UEFA for the last round.

30mil is a bucketload of money, but it would be nice to have an aerial threat in the team for the first time in a long time up front. Could be very very good in a few years... not happy it's so much money, but hopefully Kenny can calm him down too.
