The Doctor wrote:ynwa wrote:The Doctor wrote:i wonder what rafa thinks of it all Rafa sold Alonso and replaced him with Aquilani the year after we finished 2nd in the PL F*ck what Rafa thinks  nah Aqua had potential and talent, just injuries buggared him up... Torres was Rafa's big signing and it all went downhill for Fernando since he left really... it's hard to think what has been the defining moment that led to this downfall for the club yeah i agree Aquilani had potential but just didnt work out, it was a gamble signing him with his injury anyway IMO! i think after we finished 2nd the old owners needed to back Rafa in transfer market, just a few more quality players might of changed things But i put alot of it down to losing Xabi Alonso, we tried to play same way the year after he left however didnt have the creative CM in order to do that

Honestly feel sorry for you guys, thought Torres had more character than that, I hope for your sake he doesn't do a Tevez now. Carroll being worth more than Suarez, Dzeko and Villa is a tragic refelection of the inflated state of todays transfer market, football is in a bad state

Happens every year your talking shit, for the past 3-4 seasons the money spent in january has been decreasing heavily and clubs have been looking for loan deals... City are an exception to this because they are an exception to football history to be honest with the way they have spent... Liverpool were cash rich and time poor, thats why the inflated fee, it's understandable but doesn't mean it's right though

His armband said he was a red, he lied, he lied. The treatment table was his bed, we cried, we cried Fernando you're a blue for life And now Terry can fuck your wife Andy Carroll is Liverpool's number 9.

this is how we felt when Tevez left us. He went one worse by going to cross town rivals.

I hope Carroll fails at Liverpool and you sell him back for half the price, Robbie Keane style.

Totally different situations.

After paying 35m, I doubt we're selling him anywhere. @ Ashley selling on his team's star player out from underneath the manager once again. It just really bothers me how Torres left the club. So reminiscent of Michael Owen.

He went there cause Ferguson didn't sign him up because he didn't think what kia was asking was value for money... you wanna blame somebody for that, blame Ferguson cause he had the opportunity to sign him and he passed on it

Ferguson wasn't willing to fork over for Tevez, city were. He wasn't going to go back to west ham.
It was United's fault for not forking over. But I can understand why their fans would be disappointed.

Well at least we now have two other strikers who should step it up. I guess Carroll to play a similar role as that of the forgotten and Suarez to be in and behind with Meireles and Gerrard stabling the centre of the midfield, finally allowing us to get fucking Lucas off the pitch.
