Luis' performances have been nothing short of superb. He's shown just how good he'll be linking up with Carroll once they get back to match fitness.

He was great at the Copa, if he can play like that over an EPL season, Liverpool will be far better off than relying on Carroll to score goals.

As good a player he is turning out to be, myself and the majority of United fans are so glad he went to Liverpool and not United. And other clubs fans feel the same I would guess.

I don't know why, he's probably the best performing forward in the EPL right now. He's training hard and all the players at the club are delighted to have him there.

He wasn't the best performing forward in the EPL from January until May.

Why?

I am taking nothing away from what a top player he is (although the people saying he is the best striker in the world is just stupid). He is just seems to be a bit of a dog on the pitch, I mean he spits, bites, pulls hair etc. Just from a players perspective he isn't the most likeable character. Of course I don't know him personally, he might be a saint, just going from what I see on the TV, I even hated him at Gronigen I think it was before his Ajax days.

Again, taking nothing away from him as a player just glad he is at Liverpool:d.

He bit once person, and know he has a reputation of a biter. Plus, he was tread on. He didn't do it for no reason.

He is a bit of a sook at times, but he makes up for that in talent. He doesn't spit, or pull hair like you say.

His will to win is amazing, and will have a huge season this season for Liverpool.

Is getting tread on a good enough reason to bite someone?

I will try and find the footage but it was years ago, from memory it was in a European tie he let one slip out the mouth. And he pulled Rafaels' hair last year in the derby, must have a short memory.

I don't want to start a shit fight, just one of those players who gets under the skin of anyone he comes up against. And sometimes that can be a good thing.

Im just getting really annoyed with Liverpool fans at the moment. They talking all big and making like they are the best squad out there now with their signings and all. Ive always been one not to talk much. I agree Liverpool are looking good and seem to going in the right direction, but i still think that the big talk could be a problem.

I must say this would upset me. Either keep him or sell him, don't loan for another year.I can kind of see why - we dont want him, but is value is low now so we hope he has a good season with Fior and we can get a nice fee for him. But still... I'd rather we just kept him tbh.

as for Aqua. What a player. The media have given him a hard time. I think Kenny should hold on to him and play him more. He will be a fantastic player. Give Henderson more time to develop and play Aqua instead.

He is a very good player when he is given space and time to create, but when he is put under pressure he tends to struggle, which is why he was pretty poor when he arrived because he wasn't used to the pressure.

If he develops to be able to cope with the constant pressure on the field he'll be a quality player. It's no coincidence his best performances when he was here came in Europe (Atleti) and against weaker opposition (Pompey).

Other fans piss me off too, esp Man City.

I just see more of it from Liverpool fans as 90% of my family and friends are Liverpool fans.

I'm a little disappointed that he could be leaving, but if it lets us get a better fee for him and reinvest then there's nothing wrong with that.
