Apparently the line up is Reina, Kelly, Carra, Dagger, Enrique, Adam, Lucas, Henderson, Downing, Suarez, Kuyt.
4-4-2. Or 4-3-3.

TonyBarretTimes Tony Barrett Sebastian Coates in the Anfield directors box. Hope he's been given extra leg room. He's about 12 foot tall.

FT 3-1.
Disappointing to concede late, but aside from that, a marvellous performance. We absolutely dominated. Could have easily been 5-6. Suarez was unlucky not to score or have at least one penalty.
Lucas probably my MOTM. Was absolutely fucking boss again. Kuyt probably 2nd.
But that's not to detract from the others, everyone played superbly.
Shame the NT break is coming at a bad time, but I'll still celebrate this win.

The best part about this game was that the two people who've been getting the most flak from know-it-all gobshites, Adam and Henderson, looked fucking brilliant and piled on a whole bunch of pressure. 20 shots in that game from us - one goal every four minutes.
Probert outdid himself for inconsistencies though - while he made a great decision with the handball in the first half, clearly outside the area, the second decision where Knight dragged down Suarez with a hand on his leg was really evident of a bias toward Suarez. And what the fuck was with that passback?
Outclassed. Fuck you, Mancini. That's how you beat Bolton.

Carrol no start? Is this tactical or are there other reasons.
Didn't get to watch it but good result and they boys all seem to be improving

His low teasing crosses on a few occasions were inches away from being finished off and I am still convinced with his technical ability he can do us a job in the centre of the park.

fucking this... Henderson needed a performance to lift the pressure, lad was excellent, was for my money our best player in the first half only disappointing thing is that we could have racked up a few more

Still cheering from last night.
Next two games are big, Stoke and Spurs. After those we should definitely have Johnson and Meireles back, and probably Stevie too.

I think Carrol could really step up with the physical Stoke and if our defence is strong against Adebayor, Van Der Vart and Bale we should score and beat Spurs.

Meireles is all class
I was pretty happy with the performance last night. We look like we're starting to mesh as a team and there's definitely some menacing signs. It would have been nice if Suarez could get on the scoreboard again - he definitely had his chances - but you can't have it all.
Trips to Stoke and Spurs ahead after the break could be tough, but stoke are struggling to make things count. Spurs...well, the less said the better right now.

Don't know much about him tho. i believe they are waiting for a work permit, he looks to have all the makings of a top defender, he was good in copa america and still alot of upside to him.... if the reports of 7mil or so are true i think it will turn out to be a bargain.... anyone know how far away Johnson is??? and how long Kelly will be out for???
