So Suso's off to Almeria for the rest of the season. Shame, would have liked to see him come out here but consistent first team football will do him a world of good.

I went to close my eyes and go to sleep and I'm legit having nightmares about that kit. The voice in my head won't stop screaming "OH GOD WHY?!"

All I can think is "well...at east they found a way to make the away kit look good." I seriously think the kit designer was just fucking about with a deck of cards when he came up with the away and third kits. Seriously Warrior...what the actual fuck? Quote:Don't want to get too technical but are those socks even legal? Wouldn't they have to be the same colour? Yeah, socks are required to be matching so I dunno what's going on there. the article AJohn posted on the previous page wrote:Laugh at Everton…it’s allowed Not any more, not with that kit it's not.

I really hope you're not being serious with that. I don't care what the hell they were as long as our crest is on it. . ... Wait, what were they? ;) And no, not being literal. You gotta admit though, it's pretty embarrassing. Close funky  Thank Christ we'll wear it 3-4 times max this season. Will ANYONE actually buy it?

I'm starting to think that the ridiculous kits are part of some sort of marketing strategy.
I mean, seriously. What the fuck is that.
It must be getting harder and harder to keep supporting Liverpool.

Are the players going to be told which colour to wear on what foot?

We've got Gerrard, Lucas, Henderson and Allen...we'd have had too many mids if Mkhitaryan comes in.

Given he disappeared that gives us a little something extra, but when their asking price is currently 25m that's a bit steep IMO.

Just saw this -
John Bradley @JBcommentator 3 Jun Having watched Henrikh Mkhitaryan grow as a person and a player at Shakhtar Donetsk, I will dance a jig if he signs for Liverpool #player
Hmm..
John Bradley @JBcommentator 14m Dancing a jig ;-)
Not like it's conclusive but interesting nonetheless.

They're not in a strong bargaining position with the fact Mkhitaryan disappeared and clearly doesn't want to stay.
I still have a funny feeling we'll get him. I think the Dortmund interest is just the chairman playing games.

Borussia Dortmund have made a €23 million (£19.5m) bid for reported Liverpool target Henrikh Mkhitaryan. wrote:
Shakhtar Donetsk CEO Sergei Palkin confirmed the Bundesliga side's offer for the 24-year-old midfielder, but insists it falls way short of the club's own valuation.
Instead, the Ukrainian outfit want one instalment of €30m (£25m) for the player, who has gone AWOL after not showing up with the rest of the Shakhtar squad for pre-season training.
His impending departure could have been helped by Shakhtar's acquisition of Brazilian Fred from SC International for €15m (£12.5m), announced by the club on Wednesday.
Palkin told Futbol: "I don't know where Mkhitaryan is now, solely his agent knows this.
Official position
"We are prepared to sell Mkhitaryan for ¿30m (£25m), this offer stands for the next 10 days. If Mkhitaryan wishes to leave, they have to pay this amount for him." Henrikh Mkhitaryan "Borussia offered €23m (£19.5m) for the midfielder. I contacted Mkhitaryan's agent yesterday. I wrote to him about the official position of the club.
"We are prepared to sell Mkhitaryan for €30m (£25m), this offer stands for the next 10 days. If Mkhitaryan wishes to leave, they have to pay this amount for him.
"€30m, one installment. If there is a club that can pay that amount, we are ready to make a deal."
While Liverpool have been linked with Mkhitaryan as Brendan Rodgers seeks to overhaul his squad, Palkin claims there has been no approach from the Reds as yet.
Looks like you'll miss out on this one.

Both keepers are brilliant, I can see Reina playing league games and Mignolet in the cups, like Hart/Pantillimon last season for City. Unless Reina's league form slips. He could be saying that in order to maximise the asking price for Reina.

I'm not a fan of losing Reina. I think competition for the starting spot would do both keepers a world of good.
