Tbh, Liverpool really should have finished them off in the last 10 minutes. That goal from Hernandez came against the run of play. These things happen though. a point against United is always handy.

By all reports the friendly against Rangers was poor. Agger, Doni and Coates the ones that looked good apparently. And Maxi. And good to see Lucas get the armband, and Johnson, Agger and Aurelio to get some fitness back.

It was dire. I made it to 40 minutes before I turned it off and watched United spawn their way to a win with a fucking dire performance.

Yeah... I considered waking up for it but I know the streams on LFC.tv are temperamental at the best of times and it was never going to be a feast of football.

Anyone thinking Norwich would just lie down are sorely mistaken. I wouldn't bet against them after the Chelsea game.

Suarez was unlucky after some wonderful skill to control the ball.

Wasn't Andy Carroll bought for 35m because he had the best chances to goals ratio? Yet only plays 10 mins when we have 29 shots.

Running from 40 yards out and having a crack from 30 does not equal a chance. Stuff like that.

I feel so sorry for Suarez. He was just brilliant all day and hit the post twice and was denied by Ruddy in amazing circumstances.

Thing is though, this isn't the first time this has happened. 18 chances v Stoke for 0 goals, 16 v Sunderland for 1 and 20 today.

It's a recurring problem. We just aren't clinical in front of goal. As amazing as Suarez is sometimes he is too tricky for his own good.
