At least you know Charlie Adam isn't a player that dives  Well according to his bullshit at least.

Highlight of the match- Suarez's magnificent first goal, wonderful, awesome, sensational and many other superlatives! This was followed closely by the look Probert gave after Andy Carroll slapped his ass!

Very good win. Very happy.
Coates was very good aside from that error for the goal. Dagger and Kelly were good.
Hendo's cross for the 2nd was superb. Suarez was amazing of course, and Carroll did quite well I thought.
Hope we get Cardiff or Palace in the quarters. But it will probably be United who are home to Palace. :P

In the FA Cup last year we only had to contend with Liverpool, Arsenal and City. Extremely lucky there.
Funny coming from you lot after that Jack Rodwell challenge, not to mention all the 50-50 calls that went your way](*,)

Only saw the first 50odd mins - but importantly saw Suarez's equiliser ! what a bloody pearla !!!!! felt good heading off to work after that but to me prior to the goal looked in 2nd gear at times, play was slow anybody else think that ? maybe they picked it up after the goal. Asked my son to sms the final score - happy.

Between about 5-35mins the tempo was great, but it dropped off after that. After the equaliser we looked more likely to score too.

Amazing goal by Suarez. But the Stoke defender needs to be dropped for opening up his legs like that

"WOOD YOU BELIEVE IT? Hello Martin. As a slightly frustrated Liverpool fan it seems that we have hit the woodwork an awful lot this year. Do you know whether I am right in thinking Liverpool have hit the woodwork the most in the Premier League this season, or is my natural bias making me assume that Liverpool are more 'unlucky' than other teams?! Thanks - Dan, Liverpool fan
MARTIN SAYS: Dan, the stats do support your theory. Liverpool have hit the woodwork on nine occasions in the Premier League so far this term, which is an average of once per game.
Opta have given us the stats on how often each team has hit the post or bar and Liverpool are three clear of their nearest rivals, Manchester City, who've done it six times. In fact, 14 of the 20 teams have hit the woodwork on three occasions or fewer - which is as many times as the Reds struck the woodwork in Saturday's game with Norwich alone.
Most woodwork hits in the Premier League 2011/12
NINE: Liverpool SIX: Man City FIVE: Fulham FOUR: Blackburn, QPR, Stoke, Wigan THREE: Chelsea, Everton, Man Utd, Newcastle, Norwich, Sunderland, Swansea, Wolves TWO: Arsenal, Bolton, Tottenham, West Brom ONE: Aston Villa"
Interesting. Not like it means anything in particular. We've just been a bit unlucky.

Not unlucky, just not accurate enough.

If it was accuracy problems it would be mostly shots off target, not into the woodwork. The difference between woodwork and a goal is so minor.

 Yes, but I mean if it was really accuracy problems they would be shots that miss the goal all together. I know that statistically it goes down as a shot off target.

Sounds like accuracy problems to me...

YNWA Brad.
Watched the highlights of the reserves 3-1 win v Chelsea (love having LFCTV!). Sterling, Coady, Morgan, Ngoo are all fantastic prospects. I've been impressed with them all season. Adorjan, Suso, Wisdom have been good too.
Here's hoping we break the woodwork curse and put 4-5 past WBA tomorrow. The goals Luis got midweek will do wonders for his confidence.

Carroll and Adam to score in a solid 2-0 win for us.

nhub24 wrote:Carroll and Adam to score in a solid 2-0 win for us. Wow. Well done. Wasn't our best game, but it's a good three points. Some periods of great play, and Suarez was at his best again. And great to see Carroll get on the scoresheet. Dagger and Skrtel looked great... I wouldn't split them up, even if Carra comes back. Lucas was a beast again. His pass to Suarez for the second goal was sublime.
