From watching the game  Those two red arrows up the top. One was the corner and the other was the cross for Suarez.

Before the 2-0 win for you this season you hadn't beaten us in the league since 06-07 and hadn't beaten us in any competition since 07/08 One funny thing I did notice when looking at our head to head is that we love a 1-1 draw Since 07/08 we've played 12 matches, 6 of them ending in 1-1 draws  Edited by sydneycroatia58: 21/11/2011 09:53:06 PM Did not say anything about in the league.

Yeah, the point is still the same. If you'd actually red the first paragraph you would've seen that I'd said that before the 2-0 win this season you hadn't beaten us in any competition since 07/08. Not exactly consistently beating us is it.

Fair statement? considering our form going into most of these games compared to Chelsea or Man U, I've always been presently surprised with the results.

Say what you like about Agger, but we keep more clean sheets with him on the pitch. Did you see him when Chelsea scored their goal? He was loitering about like a blinfolded drunken hobo, and made it way to simple for Chelsea. Skrlt would have been responsible for an even simpler goal had Drogba not underestimated him shiteness and not given up when Skrtl let the simplest of crosses go completely through him.

Skrtel*
I do remember that cross, but he was great aside from that.
9/13 clearances, 2/2 aerial duels, 2/2 tackles, 1 interception, 2 blocks. He stopped everything coming his way.

Where do these stats come from?
How does a CB in the premier league go up for only two headers in a game?

They're Opta stats, which Imno gets from that 442 Stats Zone app.
The aerial duels thing isn't how many headers he goes up for, it's how many times he goes up for a header against an opposing player. There would be a lot of headers that wouldn't be considered 'aerial duels'

They're getting better together too.

An incredibly smart man, just everywhere else except the football pitch  Senderos may have been a hack, but he was part of one of if not the greatest back fours in Champions League history. That's more than a lot of defenders can say  Edited by sydneycroatia58: 23/11/2011 07:22:19 PM

Puh-leeze. He spent more time cleaning pieces of the opposition striker's shins out of his boots than he did turf after a game.

Decent result. We battered them, Hart made 3-4 absolutely world class saves. I'll take a point.

Haven't seen the game yet but will see it tonight - split points better than a loss I suppose.

Yeah... Hart pulled out a few world class saves but I would've taken a point before KO and I will now.
Fulham, Villa, QPR, Wigan, Blackburn.... we have to do the business here.

Lucas was the boss out there today :)i just loved how everyone worked there ass off for each other you could see it Thought Enrique looked nervous going forward sometimes, gave away a bit of possession With Adam and Lucas playing very well, where does Stevie fit back in?? In the centre, out wide or playing off striker??? i think he will play off Suarez Good result, hope we can get a roll on now with some easier games Go you reds!!! YNWA

Enrique was poor in the first half but excellent in the second.
When Stevie comes back he'll play in a midfield 3 with Charlie and the Hero.

The problem with Liverpool is season after season they consistently outplay the top sides but stumble against the sides they are expected to beat. IIRC Liverpool were the first team in history to do the double over the other 2 sides in the top three (ManU & Chelsea) & not win the title.

They have the type of players who perform when they are on match of the day but are not interested in the 'nothing' games.
They will lift and peform great on occasions but you have to be up for every game if you want to win things.
