Khedira is a different style of player from what I've seen... I'd take Lucas over Busquets any day of the week.

That is absolutely superb. It's easier to turn your home form around that your away form too, so I'm hoping we can sort ourselves at Anfield and really kick on in December. 15/18 points would be great.

I am watching the game again right now - everyone played their game but as mentioned Maxi Bellers and Lucas were the key players....don't like seeing him carried off again !
Bellers sure is adding much value - Kuyt must be getting edgy not getting enough game time.
Carroll is a concern - missing the penalty how much will that go through his head, he looks awkard at times. He's got a lot more maturing to do before he becomes a regular weapon imo.

KD has just been saying that we're happy with his progress but no idea on return date... probably in January.

Yeah... with a weaker player mentally I'd be worried this would affect him in terms of being afraid to get stuck in for the challenge again... but not our Lucas. He is a warrior of the highest order.

I would much much prefer we play them over two legs than once off in the final. Sure, Palace/Cardiff would be nice because it gives us a greater chance to go to Wembley, but if we can get past Citeh then we'll have a massive chance to win a trophy.

Arturo Vidal is more attacking than Lucas. But yeah, you could say he's better but he'd struggle in the EPL.

Not exactly a confidence booster when we couldn't find a way to finish them last week though. Are we at home or away first?

Well I don't mind us playing citeh again but this time we finish then off !
It can only build up the team confidence and prove they can do it - the lower placed teams are the concerns more than the clubs around us and above :lol:
