Skrtel was an absolute rock. I know a lot of oppo fans don't rate him but he has been superb this season. MOTM probably, Adam and Suarez close behind. Hendo was great also.

Very obvious where our problems lie. I think we need to get more players into the box when going forward... too often there's only one or two players in there waiting for a cross.

That said, we've gone so close on so many occasions (hit the woodwork 16 times I think it is) so just being a touch more clinical and fortuitous I think the goals will come.

Villa next.... wont be easy, but I think Agbon is out which helps.

That was a mediocre game. We're still lacking that lethal finish. Gerrard and Lucas being out probably doesn't help things, but we need to do more.

I definitely wouldn't call it mediocre. We were fantastic aside from putting it in the net. But we were all over them and played some brilliant football. Maxi and Suarez play so well together.

Absolute quality - Thing i love in vid is that most of those goals are beautiful without requiring the yard of pace he's lost over the past few years.. The only thing he seems to be missing is that confidence, i believe coming back to Liverpool could get him that confidence back.. And for that reason, I'm in.

I quickly forgive and forget, but what's most important is what Torres did on the field... The lad can make up for his wrong doings by scoring for us week in week out like we know him...

They'd have to pay US 20m to sign him tbh. He'll crack the shits and leave again if things don't go his way. And although we need a striker who knows where the net is, he appears to have forgotten that. I don't think the fans can ever forgive the way he left. I don't think many of his teammates like Pepe, Gerrard and Carragher could either.

I think our attacking purpose looked good and defence were fairly solid, but we didn't boss the midfield as much as we should have (Lucas/Spearing missing...was expected) and we didn't have that lethal finish, as we've missed all season. It could and should have been 3 or 4-0

I don't know what's funnier. The amount of people who think Liverpool will take Torres back. Or the people who think that if he goes back to Pool his form will suddenly return. Tbph I wouldn't be surprised if he never returns to anything near what he used to be. I mean we're not talking about some little slump here. He's been rubbish for nearly 2 years.

If he goes to Euro 2012 ahead of someone like Negredo, Soldado or Llorente then some serious questions need to be asked.

Tbh, I think the return to Liverpool could work for him (or any team not comprised of mercenaries) but nobody in their right mind would welcome him back to the club after the manner in which he left the place.

My heart loves the goals he scored for us and IMO we got the "best" of his services but I find it very hard to forgive after how he left LFC.
I feel for him TBH - for such brilliant play in the past to lose his confidence/timing his head must be very fucked up.
We probably could be his best medicine for possible recovery but my what a risk and a risk LFC could not afford at this present stage - hey Fernando HAL is your calling :lol:

He still demonstrates all the ability that he had for us. He just doesn't have the chance to use it because Lampard, Mata, Drogba, etc. are all too busy trying to be the hero and do everything themselves.

He'd be great with Suarez, IMO. But there's still that stigma about him at the club.

I don't think you can blame Chelsea players for him being crap. He's just totally lost it. There's no point in going on about 80 goals or whatever he got here. He's past that now.

The only way I see him regaining his form is a move back to Spain. I can see him being a big signing for Malaga.

This. He was shit before he left Liverpool anyway. He's been nothing short of atrocious for the past 18 months, and I don't know if we'll ever see him back to what he used to be.

I don't think you can judge his 'loss of form' on his later performances for Liverpool, the whole club were struggling and they were a complete mess. I think he clearly chose the wrong time to move clubs.

They will be for position over the next couple of seasons.

Very good performance, although the last 25-30 was drab.

Bellers was superb, Johnson and Skrtel brilliant as well. Suarez so unlucky. We've now hit the woodwork 19 times. And only scored 20. Nuts.
