I dunno how he'd stand up to top flight football. My first thought was "he can't be any worse than Carroll". But taht's not much of a yardstick.

Even in the SPL, you can tell he's got a magnificent eye for goal, and real poacher instincts. Wether good enough for top level EPL, I'm not sure, but I reckon he'd be good enough for mid level for sure.

Yeah, but the said the same thing about Scott McDonald and he's faded into Championship level obscurity.
