Our whole defence was woeful. Downing and the rest of the team looked lost and intimidated - yes, intimidated by Young Boys.
Henderson, Sahin and Assaidi were all good, but Shelvey was a game changer.

I really enjoyed some of the tweets overnight about Being Liverpool, comparing it to The Office. Really looking forward to it...

Liverpool FC @LFC Subs: Jones, Enrique, Sahin, Assaidi, Henderson, Carragher, Suso.
Suso on the bench, lovely. Obviously preferred to Downing  Loving that bench, lots of quality to bring on.

Assaidi was impressive. Very quick and agile, good balance and quick feet to beat his man. Lacked end product at times but will be a very good bench player.

Have really enjoyed watching the Liverpool transformation as a neutral. Really like watching Allen, Shelvey and Sterling. Honestly believe a genuine finisher such as Falcao would have you guys in the sort of position on the table most realistic fans would want for the moment. Still plenty of areas that need strengthening before thinking top 4 again, but there are definite signs of improvement.

Mark Halsey = Howard Webb? Interesting a few days ago Fergie was complaining that he can never get a penalty at Anfield. Tin-foil hat stuff but maybe it influenced the referee's decision in some way because that was really poor. Liverpool were very entertaining though, enjoyable team to watch lately.

Fuck, seems every time we play Liverpool my newsfeed is full of the same old shit about Fergie paying off the officials. Yes there were some horrific decisions tonight that clearly favoured us, but honestly, in the split second heat of the moment in a game with as much pressure as this, it's not unfathomable to see how some decisions were given without the benefit of slow motion replays that we all enjoy.
Don't get me wrong, I hate winning this way and genuinely feel sorry for some of your supporters, but fuck me some of your lot love playing pointing the finger. I swear Afro secretly enjoys these moments so he can complain about United or about how much we love cheating.

I can't even blame United, it's just Halsey. He just totally bottled it.

Ok now that the rage has subsided a bit lets look at the game...
First of all, WOW at the fact he brought on Suso at HT. Massive call but it certainly didn't backfire. He looked good. Loved having he and Sterling on the pitch at the same time.
Gerrard was quality, absolutely world class. Suarez was brilliant too but tired (understandably)
Johnson was great too, as was Allen.
Agger will be out for a few months IMO, which is a shame but Seba can step in.
Hopefully we can get a result our performance deserves next week.

BR injuries. "Fabio had a badly swollen ankle. Agger's doesn't look good, the medics were saying it might be a medial ligament. We'll see."

Gerrard would just about be wanting to play us every week, it is just ridiculous the way he steps up when he plays United.
Your midfield really dominated things in the first half and definitely have some class, a good quality finisher will make you lot a much more competitive side. I can't believe we didn't start Scholes, especially in light of the way your midfield has been playing in the lead up to this game, we looked so much more assured when he came on, we were a mess up until that stage.

So Agger will be out for a few months. No idea about Kelly. Fabio maybe for a while too. Add that to Lucas being out and Jonjo suspended for 3 games... not cool.
Sahin will step in to Shelvey's space... if Fabio is out then bring in Suso/Assaidi... and Enrique in for Kelly with GJ back to RB... and Coates for Agger.
Actually not too bad looking at that
