We should be aiming for in excess of 60 points for sure. Home clashes with Spurs and Chelsea aside, all our matches are very winable for the run in.

We just hear from so many Liverpool fans when we get knocked out of Europe. It always is a good moment for you guys. We poke fun when you get knocked out in the FA Cup but it's always a special moment when we get knocked out Europe. Bit of banter.

The draw was bitterly disappointing because of how we conceeded the second goal. Same goes for Arsenal.

As far as I'm concerned I am not satisfied swallowing the draw v's citeh, nor the previous week, they are lost opportunites.

Yeah, draws and the top scorer at a nominal point in the season is a 'highlight' for Liverpool, just like not being relegated is for United =d> =d> Good on ya.

How does it makes me feel better, it's the lowest point of our season. It hurts like hell, beating Chelsea on the weekend won't make up for it.

Pragmatic win. I shat bricks when I saw that Jones was between the sticks and his marshalling of the defence was poor. But the team performed admirably and on the whole it was a quality outing.

Suarez and Sturridge played superbly. I was worried that subbing Coutinho for Allen was Benitez-esque but it worked brilliantly. Well in, Brendan.

Slightly worried about Gerrard's anonymity for 40 minutes of the second half though.

Coutinho was awesome for the first 30 or so but faded. Can't believe he's only 20. That first goal was the sex.

Great sub from Rodgers, Allen tore it up. Very happy with that win and Downing deserves plaudits.

I loved when Gerrard clattered the fuck out of Bale with that header near the end of the first half :lol:

If we beat Southampton next week and Arsenal don't win at the Liberty then we go 5th...

As for Bale, I love how every time he touched the ball he got booed. I don't think you can get much more praise from a fucking scouser than to be booed :lol:

There is no denying the quality of Luis, that outside of boot just screams jizz as it flys into the net =d> (haters are going to hate) love it that he keeps delivering.

Glad I stayed up for this one- to come away with the 3 points against a quality side like Spurs is a good indicator of how far we've come since the beginning of the season. Only 7 points off 4th, and with Chelsea still in the FA Cup finals, fatigue for them could work in our factor during the home stretch...

What a game. Good outing, our best of the season.
