Shocking. Pathetic performance with no drive from anyone.
I mean the goals were bullshit and very fortunate but we did nothing to deserve a win.

Attitude was everything in this mornings' game. Since BR took over I've been impressed with the squad's general ability to put lower/ mid table teams to the sword, but watching that game was a hark back to the dark side of the Benitez era. I'm majorly disappointed about the absence of Sturridge, however I've been fairly impressed with Sterling so far even though he does lack experience. The team was getting wins and snatching draws without Suarez so I'm thinking this morning was one of those games and form should improve. Although playing a few higher placed sides over the next month should give us a better idea of what's needed in order to see what's needed to be a team who wins titles as opposed to simply finishing first.
There are only two intellectually honest debate tactics: (a) pointing out errors or omissions in your opponent’s facts, or (b) pointing out errors or omissions in your opponent’s logic. All other debate tactics are intellectually dishonest - John T. Reed

Sturridge can be replaced. The problem was a simply flaccid performance.

Very nice performance, but makes the whole Hull result all the more puzzling.
Luis Suarez becomes the first player to score a hattrick against the same team three times.

The players can't afford to switch off or be complacent < that more so was the Hull loss. Well what a performance \:d/ damn great, Canarys won't forget LS for a long long long time :d

True - I reckon he didn't expect the keeper to be that far out nor not capable to recover and tip it over but damn he nailed the 2nd one !

The first one was a stunning strike, but I really liked the second goal personally. Being on his non-preferred foot and at a bit of an awkward height.

Everyone is going on and on about the 1st one, yet it looked good but some hilariously bad goalkeeping had a big part to play. Doesn't come close to the 3rd one. Le Tiss would be proud.

Bad keeping or not, still some tremendous technique to get it where he did.
Can't wait to see him link up with Ozil and Ramsey 8-[
In all seriousness, he's adding millions to his value each game. Makes you wonder why the fuck Madrid paid so much for Bale when Suarez was available for what 50mil?

Yeah no doubting it was a tremendous hit, just the fact that it came from bad goalkeeping takes away from it for me and is what has it behind the 3rd goal for mine. The 1st one looks great because of how far out he was, but isn't the better goal imo.

Yeah I have to agree - first goal is good tekkers and has wow factor but in terms of all round, the 3rd one was exquisite, touch, control, awareness, power, precision, technique. Was brilliant.

I remember some awful things said about Rooney during that transfer request stuff :P
I genuinely thought he was leaving. I'm glad he didn't though - as long as he's out there putting in good performances and working hard for the shirt everyone will love him - and rightly so.
What he did was still childish though.
