Also goes down at the slightest bit of contact too unlike Coutinho and sterling who are half his size.

The City game might be the biggest game at Anfield ever.
I know its a big call, and that CL semi against Chelsea in '05 was epic.
But nothing compares to the league when you haven't won it for 24 years.

Agree re Sturridge - he has become a prima donna as the season progressed, cant deny his form but his antics are a bit much, the simulation should never be allowed, refs/lines people really need to address this closer and act. On another note re Coutinho - I said earlier on wish his shooting would get a bit more punch and look what he does, from the highlights wasn't sweet as but it went in low and hard regardless good stuff little fella

In regards to Luis golden boot: Needs 3 in 6 games to break the record for total goals in a 38 game season.

It was a pretty sweet hit - struck well and fizzed just off the ground. Very hard for a keeper. Quote:The City game might be the biggest game at Anfield ever.

But nothing compares to the league when you haven't won it for 24 years. If we win against West Ham the Kop will be absolutely ROCKING. It will be massive, if we win there, it's 10 wins in a row, it means we're right out in front of City, it means there are only 4 games left and we're top, it will mean so damn much. I would kill to be standing on the Kop for that game. Can't wait for it, especially if we beat Wham. Even if we don't the place will be huge but if we beat West Ham it will be even bigger...

Just enjoy it and believe you are the best team in it. No point trying to play the underdog tag, players don't read these forums, enjoy that you have been the best team and believe that's enough to win it. In saying that, I hope it's a horrible few weeks where you guys are brought back down to earth

Boring boring can't wait for the next game...... Here's some comments made by Sturridge yesterday for those not checking the clubs website : Daniel Sturridge today explained why the Liverpool squad are drawing inspiration from working alongside Steven Gerrard on a daily basis as they aim to secure a successful conclusion to 2013-14. The striker admits the presence of the Reds captain is invaluable and believes he's an impeccable role model for all players within the game. "He's just unbelievable every day, a great leader," said Sturridge. "He's been here his whole career and it's just a great pleasure to be able to play with him. "He is the perfect example for every young player around the country - in fact a real example for every player. "He's been so loyal to Liverpool - he has been world class and still is world class. Stevie will always be a legend not just for Liverpool, but to England as well. "He will definitely go down in history as one of the best midfielders in the game, never mind just this club." Gerrard has excelled from a deeper-lying position as Liverpool have surged to the top of the Barclays Premier League table. When you think about our one club SG the scenario will happen just as other clubs always find once these type of loyal great players finish up - who replaces his role on the pitch, his fight, his vision, his distribution importantly and postioning. Anyway thats nothing to carry on about now but the time will come before we know it. Love the guy love my club.

Quote:Liverpool face the daunting prospect of a Champions League group including Bayern Munich and Juventus next season, even if Brendan Rodgers’ team end the club’s 24-year wait for the league title in the final weeks of this campaign.
With the five-time European champions closing in on a return to the Champions League for the first time since the 2009-10 season, the four-year exile from the competition has left the club languishing in 32nd position in Uefa’s co-efficient table.
Manchester City, who have been forced to navigate so-called ‘Groups of Death’ in their three seasons in the competition, will find themselves elevated from Pot Three to Pot Two next season as a result of their progression to the knock-out stages of this year’s Champions League and Manchester United’s likely absence from next year’s tournament.
But even if Liverpool secure Champions League qualification by winning the Premier League, their Uefa ranking will dictate their seeding position next season and the best they can hope for is a place in Pot Three.
Uefa’s club coefficient rankings are based on a team’s results over the five previous seasons of the Champions League and Europa League - with seedings generated accordingly based on a club’s position in the table
So the nightmare prospect for Liverpool would see them paired with Bayern and Juventus or Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in next season’s group stage.
Alternatively, Liverpool could be fortunate and land Benfica or Porto from Pot One, with the likes of FC Basel or Zenit St Petersburg from Pot Two.
Uefa’s co-efficient table continues to be updated following every round of the Champions League and Europa League, but Liverpool’s position is unlikely to alter between now and the end of the campaign.
Chelsea and Arsenal have earned enough points to retain their Pot One status next season, although Arsenal’s battle to remain in the top four could see them miss out on the Champions League if Everton overhaul Arsène Wenger’s team between now and May 11.
City are currently sitting in the final berth in Pot Two and could yet drop back into Pot Three if United pull off an unexpected Champions League triumph and secure their place in next season’s competition by winning it in Lisbon on May 24.
City’s rise to Pot Two has also been helped by the domestic struggles of Valencia, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Lyon.
All four clubs are ranked higher than City, but none are likely to qualify for next season’s Champions League
BRING IT ON

Does anybody know if Sky Sports/ Fox sports is available on Qantas or British Airways international routes? I will be flying from Singapore to Brisbane at the same time the match against Crystal Palace is on. It's unlikely at this stage I know, but I'd be pissed if I missed out on seeing Liverpool (potentially) win the League...
