http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2wmack_liverpool-fc-season-compilation-2013-2014-all-goals-hd_sport# God there were some amazing moments in that season. As much as I feel the time was right to let Rodgers go, have to thank him for giving us the most exciting season of my lifetime. What a fucking season. Thanks Brendan, all the best for the future.

I think Ancelotti would be better for long term stability but Klopp would be good for an immediate impact within the next 18 months. Both are good options to have, but it's another thing trying to convince Ancelotti to move up to Liverpool.

Klopp's quick movement, counter pressing style is a joy to watch. A lot of the players we have will thrive on this style (Coutinho, Firmino, Ings, etc)

Europsort News last night was quoting Klopp most likely signing Friday. We shall see. TBH I'm not fussed, whats more so important is that FSG cuts its loss's again, allows whoever to when the time comes their full support, buy one or 2 top flight players, thats whats needed to round off the squad and play a better formation that suits.

Thanks Brendan, all the best for the future. Your right imno - BR deserves sincere thanks. I also admired how he expressed himself in front of the press. Just wasn't meant to be - considering the restraints - injuries and game day bad luck worked against him. SG's famous "slip" what the season might have been. The SS bombing was epic to see - compared to you at least it took me back to our attacking days of the past whereas for many as you it was finally something to see and saviour. Wish him all the very best, he won't be forgotten.

So articles (especially Fox Sports) are talking up like Klopp is a done deal even though he hasn't signed anything and I can't even find any sources or interviews with him saying he's even interested in the job? -PB

yep, also why past player/s say he'll become a Legend etc, ffs talk about chicken before the egg. Prior, Robbie quoting he'd love to assist if possible and I'm sure a few other wasted space articles. As for the spurs comparo, don't think so, coming 2nd played a season in CL whereas they haven't done the same but no matter its over lack of results since speak for themselves hence the door. -PB He has said he won't come back to a top club. After Carragher's words also, it's just putting two and two together.

Well they're not a top club so... Supposedly Coutinho wants to head to Barca according to rumours? Wtf do Barca need him for? -PB He had said previously: "It doesn't have to be an absolute top club," he said. "There are other good projects that are exciting and [clubs] who need help." And then his agent said: "We do not only think about the top four because there are some other great clubs below them [...] If he goes into a stadium, feels the energy and thinks that he can make a difference here, this could be more attractive to him than going with the big deals and aim for the treble." The Coutinho to Barca stuff has come about because Neymar said that he was good enough to play for Barca, Gerrard has said that it won't be long before Real or Barca come looking and the fact that Rodgers brought him in and is gone now I guess.

-PB They will. They gave BR a fair chance to do what he needed to win. Im sure Klopp will get similar treatment.

Oh Jurgen!
"Of course I will adapt, but I don't think about this because I know English football. But it's not so important at this moment because it is football.
"My experience is to listen, see, feel and then think about what to change.
"I've been in football for a long time, I don't want to make it too complicated. It's very important that the player can understand easily what you want."
"I understand football. If the people are not interested in football you can put some sticks in the park and play. It's the perfect game.
"We have to entertain them, we have to make their life better. We are not saving lives, we are not doctors.
"It's our job to make them forget their problems for 90 minutes. That's how I would want to live if I wasn't manager.
"I try to be as close as possible to the fans."
My English is not good enough to express this!
"I want to see it, feel it, smell it. It's a great place, this is the most special place I've been. This is the most historical place."
"Great! I have no other words. Today was a crazy day with what happened here when we landed. It's a great feeling and a big honour.
"One of the best moments of my life. It feels like a dream."
Kind of in backwards order but some nice words none the less!

I really hope that your owners give him the proper time and let him recruit for himself. Your club is a top 4 club .

Surely there is a betting market for when or who will be the first paper to use 'Jurgen Flopp' as a headline?
