Something is seriously wrong in that dressing room. There was obviously a bit of tension beforehand, but the moment Strauss retired it's all gone to hell. I don't know who would take over the captaincy though. Maybe Broad or Bell? Whoever comes next needs a touch of the bastard about them I think

Just watching the India v England series
Look at those whinging indian batsmen when they get given out, how can anyone support a team that plays cricket like that?
Its their form of intimidation to the umpires as they dont have DRS in their test matches, they would like to make the umpires dare them to give them out

In terms of the crowds at the test matches at the neutral grounds in the uae
What looked worse? 6-700 odd people at the ground in dubai? (Lifting up to 2-5000 with news of a Pakistan win)
Or the same number in abu dhabi, with no seats on the sides?
And you can tell that people in the uae avoid the sun as much as possible. Total contradiction to the Australian pursuit of the sun

After having barely a soul for the first day and a half
The paki fans have suddenly flocked into the stadium in the masses
One guy even jumped the turnstile, which beckons the question
Whos in charge of the ticketing? If they arr doing that at all? And will they expel that guy that got caught jumping the fence?
Regardless its nice to actually have a crowd at a neutral venue over there

Aussies getting their arses handed to them by a pretty decent Paki outfit. Not sure if we're entirely crap, or we're just not up to the conditions.

Cricket australia are trialing pink balls in its pursuit for test match cricket on at night
If this were to happen it may significantly reduce cricketers contracting melanoma, although this is a statistic that has been swept underneath the carpet by cricket administrators to avoid deterring children from taking up the game, cricket is a health risk in countries which play it other than England, India is lucky with southern asian complexions, but Australia, South Africa and (in particular) NZ, cricket is "glorified melanoma chasing".
On the other side of the argument, if this were to happen, whats going to happen to all Australians who bludge through the middle of workdays when cricket is on? Sure our scheme of playing xbox and eating cheezels has now been exposed by MP Ewan Jones, but not the cricket! \:d/

I blame Tony Abbott! ](*,)

So Clarke's club side picked him today hoping to bowl today so he could bat when he's fit next week. The other team realised this so they obviously sent them in so they would be a batsman short. Clarke's team declared on 0-17 off 9 overs

Clarke's team declared on 0-17 off 9 overs  Surely Clarke's team then declares at 0/20 after 10 overs. Sorry, I wasn't very clear, it was Clarke's team that did that. They've basically given up any chance of winning so that he can bat next week to have a hit before the test. Should point out that Clarke isn't captain so it wasn't his call. I just love that they knew they were going to declare so early but still only scored at 1.9 an over
