Yeah, free shows are never likely to be awesome anyway. You can't judge a band from one gig anyway. The first time I saw Kings Of Leon (at BDO) I was bored shitless, I listened to them afterward anyway and got right into them. When they came back and did their own tour at the Hodern, they were really, really great. Just trying to point gigs can be very different for each band. Indie bands don't always go off at festival gigs, and myspace gigs are even worse really.

Dont want to butt in to your music conversational masterpiece, but listen to Shadowplay live by Joy Division and new dawn Fades Live turn up the audio pot and be blown away it makes your mickey mouse music look pathetically inferior to say the least,New Order are so far superior to the drivel such as Prodigy that it is embarrassing ,
