Can someone explain to me what Soundwave is trying to achieve by having their advertisement as - "Soundwave - Its not for everyone"? I don't get what they're trying to say...
Pre-Sale tickets on sale tomorrow!

Pre-Sale tickets on sale tomorrow! Can only assume they're trying to advertise it as the alternative music festival kind of thing. Saturday for Melbourne tickets...then its just a horrible 3 month wait:p

Sick of people bagging that song. What people don't understand is that KOL haven't been able to break into their home market of America as nearly successfully as they have around the world (especially Europe). They could go round England and sellout every place, but when they go back to America, everyone is like "yeah, not bad, so what?". IMO this album, and song in particular is trying to tap into this market; its what they want to be apart of. This means going a tad more mainstream, and throwing a phrase like "sex is on fire" in there. I love this band, they are my second favourite, and they gather a lot of crap for that song, but I can see why they are doing it. Having said all that, it is kind of disappointing to hear one of my favourite bands being covered (if you can call it that) on Australian Idol.

I'll miss a few bands, but none that I really care about. Pending the S.O.B replacement though.

Fave Album: Radiodread from Easy Star Allstars. I got it off the net then ordered in on vinyl. It is awesome. It's a dub remix of Radioheads "OK Computer" They also did Dub Side of the moon, and covered Pink Floyd, this album is also great! I never get sick of hearing them. Heres a link: http://www.easystar.com/releases/show/16

Yeah I got it early. They went on sale at about 8 for some reason I think. Maybe for us HSC kids... Try it tomorrow anyway, beat the rush.
Rock Superstar is good as. They do a version of it with Velvet Revolver don't they?

Will if a)they do it, and b) I can afford it. The only consoling factor is that it isn't Layne Staley on Vocals. The new guy isn't all that bad though.

I think they will do it. They'd be losing a big opportunity, especially with a band like AIC. They weren't too expensive this year were they?

From the way sales have been going, I'd say Sideys are a good chance now. Knowing my luck it'll be Lamb Of God/Devildriver/Lacuna Coil/Unearth on the same night as AIC. :p As for cost, I'm not sure, they were around 60 dollars. Depended on who was playing.
