Im confident we will continue to get more people interested aswell as the season progresses.
We will design next weeks roster at the completion of the GCU vs AU match, but buddha69, if you want to do the mid-week game, it's all yours, good to have you involved. Good effort today mate. I suggested it because I know I will definitely be free. Awesome

Just a heads up; the page is causing my shockwave plugin to crash and browser (chrome and ff) to lock. Probably a problem at my end, I'll see if there's anything I can update.
Edit: Solved. had the current version, but reinstalled shockwave and it's all good.
kutgw! :)

Good work guys, I had a little look while I was watching it on Fox. Pretty spot on commentary.

Does one of the current commentators want to take ownership of this project then?
That person will be responsible for its smooth running, assembling and maintaining the commentary team and roster, and be my liaison for the project?
Thanks guys...

Thanks guys... If you want someone outside of the commentary team to do this, I'd be happy to. Wish I had Foxtel, cause I'd love to do the commentary.

That might be a very good option - that way it reduces the workload of commentators - thanks mate...perfect!

Really great job guys.
I would put my hand up to cover games but am going to Europe for a month on Wednesday so I doubt I will have much time on here, if any. Currently I work hours 12pm - 9pm so am not very helpful covering games.
When I get back at the end of November I am changing occupations to 7am-6pm hours so will definitely be keen to cover a few games and so will have the ability to watch games and commentate. I will send my details then. As you know I am a regular in these parts and would be happy to contribute.

Sounds good lads. Good god, I hope for everyone's sake there's not more games like that GCU/AU game. Tedious to the point of distraction.

I was pretty lucky, it was quite entertaining watching MV tear Sydney apart.

nice first week lads. think its a good idea to have a non commentator run it all, less load for us commentators.
I can do the Roar match on wednesday as i will be free and i liked watching the roar on saturday.
let me know for sure. im going to update the contacts again and then send it out.
Can we then have the commentators communicate through email or something as it can be quite clustered on the forum. can keep this for feedback and stuff.

A good idea could be to a sub board but I doubt that would happen, rather than 1 topic where everything gets blown over quickly.
Especially if this is to be a big deal, the sub board might be the way to go, especially when organising availability for the coming week.

Only thing I can't do is Sydney home matches, cause I generally head down to watch them.
Open for everything else really.
Putting my hand up for Adelaide v Wellington on Friday. That's my preferred game for this round.

Sub Forum might be a good idea, but I reckon we need a few weeks make sure that everyone is fully dedicated, etc. So for now, I'm thinking we have a main team of 5/6 guys, and then a couple of backup for when people are away, extra matches etc. The main team, after this weekend, I would have as: Scouse_Roar Mizza Imnofreak Zimbos Buddha Anth, DT and Zizou also showed interest early on, So if they're still keen to have in as backup, that'd be great. So if all of the main guys could PM me with your; Email Preffered Matches from the next 2 rounds I'll set about organising a Timetable. Buddha, you were keen to do the Mid week match this week? I'll leave that to you then. Cheers guys.

Heading to the game at Suncorp on Saturday again, so I'd prefer a Sunday game if the Friday game has been bagged.
Would absolutely prefer the Perth-Sydney game if it's available... :D

scouse_roar wrote:imnofreak wrote:I recommend Scouse never does Sydney FC games. Jussayin. It's the only one I can do this week... Mate, everybody knows how you feel about Sydney, and you and I know it's impossible for you to keep that to yourself for 90mins. Any decision that goes in Sydney's favour and you'll start spouting off about conspiracy theories and agendas. We want the commentary to be informative and impartial. If you could HONESTLY guarantee you would put your personal feelings aside, then no worries. Edited by imnofreak: 17/10/2010 09:50:01 PM

I'll be informative and impartial, that's the object of these things. The odd snide comment about Brosque aside, of course. ;)

As i already have all the details, dont worry about sending them to funky, ill just pass them on to him.
Dont worry about booking in games for this coming weekend. lets just sort out the roster and details first, and once funky and i have sorted it out, we will sort out the matches.
Just be aware that you wont always be getting a game every weekend. theres more likely the chance that the main 5 or so are going to be free, but in the meantime, stay intrested and well keep in contact.

Thanks zimbos 05. I am reasonably flexable and will probably be able to do all games except Friday nights and MV home games. Hopefully i can get one this upcoming week

just sent you all the details funky. if everyone can make sure they have sent details of something they check always, like mobile or phone in case you need to be contacted in emergency situations as a backup. we almost had an issue on saturday with the roar game.

It's disappointing though because there is some good stuff on there, Lawrie McKinna's thoughts are interesting, but some people write some absolute tripe on there.
