zimbos_05 wrote:got the same email. think its probably better if we have a new console each week i think. little bit tidier and all that stuff.
up to KA i guess. Nope - a new one each week would mean having to re-invite everyone again, redo the twitter feeds, create a new event, copy and paste the new code, make sure everyone was logged into the correct window etc etc etc... it all becomes much more high maintenance for me. Much much easier to just have one and keep it from closing down every day or so... Ta

No worries KA. So it's very important that NOBODY ends the event - just "Put event into standby mode".

Looking forward to my first crack at it tomorrow night. Been fiddling around with the practice one so hopefully it goes off without a hitch. Hopefully there is also a super game to go with it.

I went onto the Matchday console for a bit of a look and ended up reading through all 5 matches8-[, can I just say, the quality was amazing, some fantastic stuff and everyone really looks to be enjoying themselves and doing their best to make this a success.
It's great fun to be apart of, and not a chore like some people may see it.
Keep up the great work fellas, and good luck buddha tomorrow!
My only word of advice, get the readers involved, replying to their comments adds another aspect to matchday.

It's great fun.
Except if you land one of the worst games in the A-League's history, like I did on Sunday. That's the sort of game where if you're a neutral, like me, you just turn it off. But even then, it was fun conveying how turgid the game was to the people who couldn't see it for themselves...
Hopefully we don't get too many more like that this season.

Hopefully my comments gave you something to look forward to... because it seemed like the game was never going to provide any entertainment.

I'm working on it atm, still waiting on preferences from some people. Will do a mock up now, and then post it. If people want to be moved, we'll work that out.

Ok. Just threw this up quickly. -Feel free to discuss amongst yourselves if you want to change fixures. As long as both of you are fine and aware of the switch, that's good with me. -Times noted are according to their own timezone, so make sure you double and then triple check what time it will be for you. Obviously 4pm in Perth will be different if you're in Melbourne, etc. -I've left Mid-week games open, because obviously peoples availability changes on weeknights. So for Midweek games I'll be asking for Volunteers. -Week 12's two midweek games will have to be sorted in terms of time, I haven't checked, but I think one should be before/after the other, because the 7:30pm is in New Zealand time.
Cheers lads.

Wednesday is the only night I work (other than this week :D), so I can't volunteer for any midweek games, since I always watch them delayed.
However, if someone can't do a game on the weekend of Week 12 I'm more than happy to step in - got the whole weekend free.
Cheers for organising this Funky.

Cheers for organising this Funky. I can't do any Saturday games Funky, have cricket all day. So Round 12 CCM vs Perth Glory, you want to cover that one scouse?

I'll double check on the A-League site and let you know.

Yep, your times are right. I'll fix that up and add in the changes that we've done so far. Cheers Buddha.

Ok, so this is updated to what we've discussed so far. Times have varied quite a bit from what was on the Wiki page so use the times here as JUST A GUIDE. Check with Foxtel, whatever you're using to watch on, beforehand. Also as stated, these times are in the time zone of the venue, so make sure you do the relevant conversions or whatever for where you live. So hopefully that's all good.
