Nope, they don't go away when you go on standby. I had to delete Polls from the game the night before before mine when I did my first match. Either you didn't post them correctly, or somebody deleted them. Or it was a glitch?

A whole bunch of puzzling stuff happened tonight. Hopefully everyone else's matchday experience is a little more straightforward.

IMO, there are way too many tweets. I'm not sure if there is a way to make it selective, but MOST aren't adding anything to the coverage. Eg. A tweet about what is happening at the game is useless because it's the commentators job to be describing what's happening. They need to be analysis-based if on the coverage at all.

Yeah, I asked imno to come help me with deleting the comments because I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on. Literally every comment that arrived was being published.

ok, so here is the agreement

1) Do not change the settings as they affect us all. Leave the settings as they are.
2) You may be logged in the same time as another commentator, however:
i) Make your presence known to the commentator
ii) Contribute or make changes only when and where asked to
iii) The purpose of a 2nd commentator is to assist if needed or fill in incase of emergencies
3) Always put the event into standby mode and never end the event.
4) Make sure you inform Funky if you have any changes to your availabilities.
5) Make sure you contact details are up to date in case you need to be contacted as a replacement.

IF there are any more, please add them to the list.

Agreed with this, the Phoenix have 2 or 3 tweets giving live commentary which defeats the purpose of our service.

I think definitely keep Lawrie and only 1 Phoenix twitter page. I think we should be rid of most of them as they duplicate what the commentator is doing.

Most of those are good - I think it's a good list. I think perhaps if it's coming too thick and fast we should probably just turn it off during the halves themselves? I don't really monitor how easy it all is to read as I'm writing it - would that work better?

That lot of twitter feeds seems fine, all of them have been helpful when commentating, and as Scouse said, you can turn off the feeds in the console if they're getting too much.

As im on for the Heart V GC match, im going to try and limit the amount of twitter feeds. After observing last nights match, Francis and DrCraig are going. As far as i saw the Matchdaysaturday doesnt really offer much more than banter i may turn that one off.

Yeah, from what I've seen, those 3 don't tend to add much. Delete them from your match, and we'll see how it goes, if the ones left over are enough, we'll just keep it that way.

Will be intresting to see how it goes. If other are becoming disruptive during the match, ill cut 'em out as well.

Just a bit of advice - Try to make the comments a little bit more descriptive. Instead of, 'Culina is fouled', say, 'Culina picks up the ball in the middle, tries to get past Kalmar but is chopped down. Free kick'.

Just make it more immersive and descriptive for the reader.

Good work tonight. I though i did well. I did more comments, but much shorter while imnofreak did less ones, but they were in wonderful detail. For my next match i will try to do more indepth comments.
