Also. The times I've put there, are according to Foxsports times on the Foxtel website. So those times are MELBOURNE times, and are referring to the start of the Pre-Game show, where possible. I think the 2nd match of the double header and the later match on sunday go straight through. Again, use these as nothing more than a guide, and check directly with your own Foxtel or whatever to confirm.

ive just come from the feedbacks thread and i noticed things like people wanting us to put in the time and such.

can we have a set standard for how we should all commentate in terms of our layout, whether we put minutes or not. we are represenatitives of 442 and need to come across as professional as possible as our work is a reflection on 442.

Realyl it's what feels more natural for people when typing. I quite like the idea of having it in brackets at the end, but it's up to you guys, you're the ones commentating.

Probably should make a standard that all commentators fulfill. I agree with Funky, the (11') brackets is quite good.

Fantastic idea, but probably leave it for a few weeks to allow everyone time to get a few games under their belt. But just as an initial guide, what should some of the standards we should set?

And Funky, I would probably do the minute first, then write the text. Is there any way we could format the world time on the side to a minute counter?

World clock has to stay. I like the second option funky. Minute infront.

I also like the idea of icons for goals, subs and cards. Twitters are annoying. They untidy. We should have a way to monitor what tweets go on like they do on BBC. Not just every tweet from that person.

Unfortunately I won't have access to Foxtel on Sunday afternoon, so I won't be able to do the game. I am however free on Wednesday, so put me down for one of the mid-week games instead.

I'd do the Sunday game but I'm at a party all day.

Do we really need to put the minute in for everything? There is a scoreboard with the time on the bottom - but I do agree that for goals and major events we should include the minute.

I prefer the 11' - etc option too.

I like DT's option of doing it every five minutes or so, and for major events.

thats not very neat or unison. i think every five minutes is better. but like i said we need to come up with one way of doing things for everyone.

on another note i never thought DT would do it at 9,999

i was just having a play in practice. is it possible to put the goal, subs and cards picture when we type it up instead of in separate posts. Just have a look at BBC on matchday and youll see what i mean.

Every five minutes and for goals/sendings off?

What do I have to do now?

I was just having a look at that and it works very well without the match times.

I rekon for this weeks matches each commentator does their own thing in regard to icons/match times. We can reassess on Monday. Also, just confirming i will be covering NQF V GC.
