Joffa wrote:Can you guys put Craig Fosters comments back on the match day commentary please? Has he slowed down yet? He basically took over the commentators during the socceroos matches, hence removing it. Here we go, last weekend of the reg season. Let's make it a good one. Just on the finals, who commentates what will obv depend on availability, but also on who supports who. You've all done well staying neutral, but I don't want to put that to the test in a Final:p

Can't do any games that I'll be at in the finals. So I can't do this Saturday, then the prelim final and grand final games are probably out.
I'll also be at the GCU home final whenever that is.
I have an engagement party on Sunday so Friday night is probably best.

Some ripping matches this week, Sunday is going to be a belter!
Only game I have a chance of doing is Heart vs Sydney but if buddha can do it, he can take it.
Should we trial the 'two commentator' system Sunday for the F3 Derby? It's a big game in terms of occasion and for the implications of the finals series, and it could prepare us for the finals next week, where I think we MUST do the 2 commentator system for all games.

And V>H had Wellington v Fury I think, and Doc had the F3, so if you want you can trial the 'analysis' commentator role for the derby? It would be good trial it and give everyone else a few pointers before the finals.

Just one of those perfect times where everyone is available for each match. So if any of you change I'll be very cross...:p

Will need a backup for my game, my laptop won't even load up so not sure if it will be alright.

HOW GOOD WAS THAT... great game to cover and i really enjoyed playing second fiddle, much more relaxing role... i dunno about the rest of you but i think we really hit the duel commentary well in the second half and it blended

Was absolutely incredible and sometimes it great to be in the background. We should aim to do as many matches with two commentators. Makes it much better and we can incorporate the LIVE match stats that we had running.
What does everyone else think?

What does everyone else think? that live match stats were good but i was using the a-league match stats and tbh i think alot of them we're wrong... they were well behind the amount of shots and fouls i thought... i like the idea but there's no point giving people wrong stats tbh... i dunno if we should always have two commentators, like we had a total matchday cancelled on wednesday because we didn't have the users on at the time... i think we can roster on who's the main comm... and then if somebodys online at the same time and volunteers to do the 2nd comm then we can do it... but for a game like this it was perfect because of the atmosphere and the whole mv adelaide rivarly

I think it's good if available for big games like derbies and such... but we shouldn't overuse it so people expect it every match. Just special games.
