I meant Paramores new album, the one that's getting a fair bit of playtime on the airwaves and the telly. I have heard a few songs and like what I heard. Also like stuff like Flyleaf quite a bit...
Try Thrice socceroos fan, they are my all time favourite band. The music changes a lot over the albums, so don't be thrown off if you listen to the songs on their myspace page, you may well like Deadbolt/Artist in the ambulance stuff a lot more.
A good starting point for the music you describe is actually Triple J. Try listening to short.fast.loud too (Wednesday nights I think), it plays stuff like Rise Against and probably gives you a good mix of the music you may like.
Edit: You could also go for some classic punk - Dead Kennedys are good fun.

Thrice have got some goood stuff. Identity Crisis and the Fire EP off the Alchemy Index are damn good. Completely different sounds though. (s)Aint - Marilyn Manson.

Kasabian - Fast Fuse. \:d/
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Edited by socceroos_fan: 27/1/2009 03:20:16 PM I can play that on bass:p Nah, that's their first full length album, their latest "This War is Ours" is with their new singer. You should check that one out, because about 90% off the songs don't have screaming, it's more like the songs you mentioned.

I prefer him too. Better singer than the new guy. Hopefully they let him back in the band after he gets out, but I doubt it. Yeah, V plays it occasionally, it's pretty good.

Although Edsel does draw on Manson for influences it's really not the same. Quote:finished with The Living End, it's not that bad, 6.5/10. I'm now going to listen to AC/DC-Black Ice. I didn't even finish what I started with Black Ice.
