afromanGT wrote:the Best Dillinger Escape Plan you probably haven't even heard. 'Monticello' was the best Dillinger song in it's original form pre-re-release in 2000. Nah, Milk Lizard is easily one of Dillingers best tracks. That, and Black Bubblegum, Sleeping Giants, Mouth of Ghosts, Sunshine the Werewolf, Unretrofied. The crazy Spazz-core stuff is good, but when they write the tracks like these, the more proggy hardcore rock stuff, it's just incredible. They need to do it more, because it really showcases their talents as a band.

Just got tickets to the Drones at the Metro in April- it's gunna be fucking awesome. They're supported by Qui, the lead singer of which was in Scratch Acid and Jesus Lizard. Afro, I hope you know them, they're about 25,000 notches above screamo like Dillinger.

I'm sorry, I didn't realise you had a direct feed of everything I listen to. It's a very good track, and I quite like it, but I still rate their more melodic, progressive stuff better.

No, they did an EP called Irony is a Dead Scene, in which they got Mike Patton to record vocals with them. It was between their old singer leaving, and the current bloke joining. afromanGT wrote:You said you didn't have it a while ago, I didn't realise you'd procured it.

The Devil Wears Prada - Still Fly
Awesome cover, once again courtesy of the "Punk Goes..." series. Speaking of which, the new one has leaked...

Enshrined - Circle of Dust (Brainchild). Actually, that whole album is good. Mindwarp by Circle of Dust.

I'm actually rather surprised they didn't play either at Soundwave, they're two of their biggest songs.

And best :(
Edit: It's suprising they didn't play Omerta on top that because its really good live song. The "I will kill you" chant at the beginning would have got the crowd going. It was surprising to see Ruin in there over them too.

I reckon they'll come back soon. Do a proper tour supporting the new album, which is still growing on me.

They love touring. And I meant properly supporting it here, rather than doing the festival circuit. They fucking love this country, will probably be back within a year.

Yeah, but I've seen these guys randomly mention it in Interviews, and most bands don't repeat it 3/4 times during the set.

Apparently U2's new album is rubbish. I won't be wasting my downloads on it.

Yeah, thats the one I mean. Can't wait to hear "When I grow up", "I Kissed A Girl" and "What Goes Around".
"Send Me An Angel" by Thrice is a great song off the first. Not just cause its Thrice either, its just a quality cover.

These albums are a great way to not feel guilty for enjoying shit songs:p EDIT: And also a great way to remember some classic songs that I used to love, for example, Chiodos covering Flagpole Sitta. Eh, those songs I just mentioned are horrible originals. I hate hearing them. Just think in Punk version they could be hilarious yet quality.

I'll be quiet, because I love 2 of those songs:p. The most hilarious cover on the album is August Burns Red doing Baby one more time.
