Reinforcing how fucking awesome this EP is, I've been blasting 'When Good Dogs do Bad Things' all week. Incredible song. Patton is a fucking god.

No nothing like that, it's more that it's a tiny venue, with a giant fucking wooden pole in the middle of the pit, holding up the roof. Converge will go off, and a stray body or two could see us all crushed...

Didn't Parkway perform there? I'm fairly sure a few stray bodies have hit the pillar in the past tbh.

Currentlly listening to Rolo Tomassi, which is kind of like a less heavy Dillinger and with a female vocalist. It's pretty good, but when she screams it makes me think of a Banshee sometimes.

Speaking of Dillinger...NINE INCH NAILS feat. Dillinger Escape Plan - Wish [Live, perth]. Absolutely AMAZING. Funky, check this shit out man. Be warned though, it's HD video & Audio, so it's a big file. Totally worth it.

I hate that fucking wooden pole. The advantage is it takes 5 steps from the middle of the mosh to buy yourself a Corona. Its not a bad atmosphere there either.

Mastodon - Crack the Skye(Album)

It may be missing one track, and only 128kbps but HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Fuck everything else. Album of the year, right here. Nothing else will come close. This thing is fucking epic on the grandest scale.

The edging of the lettering has a 'photoshop' look to it.
That and the Manning Bar in sydney is currently being renovated.

I bought the album "Rock" today. A few hits on it and not some bad songs either...i havent bought a cd in a while anyways

It's funny, because the only things that have been touched, a the '9' on 2009, and the Special Guests part, because otherwise its just their 2007 poster. Still fucking pissed about it.

Whenever you open up an image in photoshop it alters the image a little, and you can see the edging around the '9' and the special gues is a bit odd if you look closely.
And as I said, the Manning Bar is being renovated.

Manning Bar may be being renovated (haven't checked), but there is still stuff going on there. Summer Slaughter with stuff like The Red Shore is on tomorrow, and Satyricon are playing there later this month...

I remember saying metal album of the decade as soon as I heard Blood Mountain. Hope your right on this.

If you loved Blood Mountain for all the proggy, 70's rock moments they had on there, this is basically an extension of it. It's so good.

Yeah pretty much, but it was also so different from most other things going. I hardly see it as metal album of the decade anymore, just a brilliant bit of work. You've got my hopes up now so it better not let me down. :P
