Well done SOFC. A women's competition attached to the NZFC would be excellent, but it seems a long way away. Dreams are free I guess.

What has become really popular at smfc and perhaps something Olympic might want to explore is an overage womens team

what started out as a novelty has become reasonably successful with over 30 mums now participating - plenty of juniors - plenty of soccer moms

Give it a go

They can play on small sided pitches whilst their kids are training with kits and all

Yeah, being our first season in the women's state league, we'll probably be a very mediocre team. However, it is still a great milestone for the Club. Looking forward to cheering on our girls!

Sydney Olympic FC is happy to announce the Trial dates and times for the Football NSW Women’s and girls Youth Super League, 2011 Season.


The trials will be held at Peter Moore (access via Tudor street)on the times designated below and we urge all parents and players to arrive as early as possible to avoid any delays.

All players must arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled trial start time and fill out a trial registration form (please ensure we have your details prior to commencing your trial).

Any players that do not arrive in the designated time slot for their age group will NOT be allowed to trial and will be asked to come back and Trial on the next day of Trials that the Club will be holding for the specific age group trialing for.

Subsequent trials will be announced only if necessary. When all squads are complete we will announce it on our website.



Please bring with you: boots, shin pads, goalkeeper gloves and drink bottle. You do not have to bring your own ball!
