It's looking like I'll see Enter Shikari instead of A Day To Remember seeing as I'll be seeing ADTR on Monday night and ES is another one of my favourite bands.

I'm actually looking really forward to seeing Paramore. I may hav eot block my ears when Decode comes on but oh well. Four Year Strong and Motion City Soundtrack are probably my other big ones to see as well.

Dude, you gotta check out Jane's Addiction at some point and see if they've still got 'it'.

I have about 20 minutes to see them, before Dance Gavin Dance. My mate is obsessed with them, so he'll be able to give a better account of them than me.

I'd love to know what he thinks. Given that this is the first time in about 15 years that the original line-up from Nothing's Shocking are poerforming together again.

Went to ACDC at ANZ last night. All I can say is wow! F-ing best night ever, those old blokes have still got it. Angus is still an unbelievable guitarist, he did a 10 minute solo last night which was incredible.
Brian Johnston may not have the most perfect vocals, but man he has the best stage presence out of any frontmen.

Everyone keeps going on about AC/DC. I can't say I'm at all jealous. I really wish I was going to Soundwave. AC/DC to me really seems like a joke though...

I'm only really bummed at missing Anthrax... Mind you if I bought tickets I'd probably be even more pissed off because I'm sick and couldn't go anyway. Isis aren't the same at festival/outdoor settings, and I've seen most other stuff there. Jane's Addiction would be special though.

They made the whole tour a farce. They made more money off selling shitty and overpriced merchandise than from their performance, which from what I heard of it, was pretty mediocre.

Not AC/DC, the concert extravaganza bullshit. Besides charging an extortionite amount? Besides the fact that 95% of the people going know 5 songs and know shit all about the band? Besides the fact they aren't in their prime?

The real reason is they don't have Bon Scott, its not AC/DC - its little more than a tribute band. Yes Angus is great, but worth spending so much on? Not in my opinion. Its like when Queen reformed without Freddie Mecury. It would be like the Doors reforming. Or Nirvana. Its shit, and just a grab at money. And yes, I did. Fuck the bullshit.

Going to ACDC with a couple of mates in a couple of weeks. First concert. Not sure what to expect, Angus and Brian are very old, and there is no Bon Scott of course. Still, don't mind Johnson as a singer.
