Don't like what they've done to 'Dead and Gone'. Completely taken away from the epicness of JT's part. Could have made it huge, instead they've made it sorta whimpy.

Nothing wrong with them outside of that either. @ S_Fan, Yes, yes it is. Like I said, that for me, is exactly what these albums represent. Take a good song, make it huge and epic. Few changes for Soundwave too: A Skylit Drive replaced by Blessthefall Alesana replaced by Polar Bear Club This Town Needs Guns added to the lineup.

I am trying my best not to like G6 by Far East Movement. It's just gone #1 in NZ.

Sister just jizzed at Blessthefall. This will make sure I listen to them now.
A bit bummed about Alesana but meh.
And Like A G6 is the best party song, but because I watched that weird guy lip sync it on YouTube I can't take it seriously now

Great song. Got to start putting a bit of cash aside for my new years' tradition of going to the new years day sales and scoring all the ministry of sound cd's at a steal because they have the previous year on the cover.

Quote:Orange County hardcore giants Stick To Your Guns will return to Australia for a national tour through November and December. Touring Australia with LA legends Terror in 2009, Stick To Your Guns will once again destroy stages nationwide with their brand of melodic hardcore, with a generous list of 13 tour dates. Joining them as they make their way across the continent will be San Francisco’s heavy hardcore favourites First Blood and Queensland’s own metalcore outfit Wish For Wings. Stick To Your Guns formed in 2003 and quickly attracted the attention of the independent music scene and hardcore fans alike, earning them prominent tour supports, a place on the 2008 Warped Tour and the record for the highest attendance ever at the famous iconic California venue Chain Reaction. With the release of their newest album, "The Hope Division", STYG have recorded their most honest and aware album to date. Bringing their passionate and infectious live show to Australia for the second time, STYG are a band that fans of the band and hardcore lovers alike do not want to miss out on! Unashamedly honest of their goal to create straightforward, crushing, metallic hardcore, legendary Bay Area hardcore outfit First Blood are hitting these shores for the first time. Fast-forward to 2010 and the band are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated, sophomore release, "Silence Is Betrayal". Featuring 15 songs of musical devastation and lyrical condemnation, First Blood revisits the spirit and burning flame that originally brought the band together. Since bursting onto the scene with their heavy guitar riffs and endless touring, Wish For Wings has become a well-known name, not only in their home state of Queensland but also right across Australia and beyond. Their fast pace and highly energised live shows leave the audience wanting more, and with their rigorous touring schedule Wish For Wings certainly delivers. Joining the tour just in time to coincide with the November release of their second full-length "Echoes", fans can definitely look forward to singing along to their moshpit anthems. With this trio of bands igniting audiences, moshpits are going to be hives of activity as the bands rip apart the stage. This is definitely going to be one tour that should be marked in the calendars as un-missable this year. Tickets on sale Monday 18th November 2010 @ 9am! STYG at Next you say? I'll have to remember that. Quote:Australia needs a medal for producing these guys. We also deserve to be drawn and quartered for producing the likes of Guy Sebastian...and...that fat chick whose name nobody remembers. So all in all, we're still in negative territory.

I meant compared to what the rest of the worlds pop music sounds like. I'd take Kylie, Missy Higgins, Kisschasy, The Veronicas, over 99% of the rest of the worlds pop music anyday.

You can name half a dozen 'acceptable' pop musicians from any country - eg. Kelly Clarkson and Pink in america. That doesn't make up for the incredible crap we have produced courtesy of Idol and tv stars trying to make a career in music for some inexplicable reason.

I didn't say it did. Just saying Aus Pop > Most other Pop. Also lol that one of the artist you named came from the same "Idol and tv stars trying to make a career in music for some inexplicable reason."
