The Mountain Goats are recorded on old Tape recorders instead of digital, yes. Old school gear, minimal equipment etc.

Got a kind of alt-guitar recommendation: The Mountain Goats. Pretty much a single guy, but he's an amazingly good songwriter, it's basic guitar+vocals+drums for the most part, nothing flash at all (I think it's recorded in older non/electronic methods. The lyrics are some of the most descriptive, haunting, inventive and brilliant I've ever listened to.
Top Tracks: Old College Try No Children Love Love Love Hast Thou Considered The Tetrapod

Yeh I got there at like 10:30 and got in within 5 minutes. I was out of the mosh for MCS too, I was dead at that time, but getting sprayed at Paramore brought me to life.
You're more die-hard than me for ADTR :P

Soundwave was heaps good got there early and instead of standing up waiting in line we sat down under a tree and still got in within like 2-3 minutes got in and got merch then found out the cloak room wasnt going to be open till like 1, great organisation there :P bit annoyed that closure in moscow werent playing anymore but no big loss saw taking back sunday who were pretty amazing, got to one person from the front for them as well, along with getting stuff signed by them later on. then motion city soundtrack, i stood out of the mosh for them but they were pretty good then went and saw the end of alexisonfire's set which seemed pretty good but they played for an extra like half an hour then paramore who were heaps good and i was about 5-6 people from the front in the mosh pit watched placebo from the hill, not a huge fan but they were fairly good then afi who i didnt like all the much before but after seeing them live i think they are heaps good all time low were heaps good i didnt like jane's addiction at all then saw only 4 songs of jimmy eat world which i was a bit annoyed about with all the bands on the main stages being pushed back escape the fate were like the best band i saw all night. went absolutely nuts for them, crowd surfed during this war is ours and fell down nearly on my head but got back up and went again and a day to remember last who were really good, and everyone i know thought they were really good i was dead by the end of it though and im still heaps tired now but a day to remember sidewave tonight :D

Not going to ADTR concert tonight. TBH I'm not that cut. While they are one of my favourite bands, so are Enter Shikari, and form the sounds of it, they were way better than ADTR last night.

Invincible - Muse
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

davidtorres wrote:Just listening now to The Others by TV Rock and Dukes of Windsor. Fuck it is such an epic song. That's so old  :P Soundwave was so awesome. Paramore were definitely the highlight of my day. We weren't in the D thing, but on the edge outside and were going mental in all the songs, even in Decode  Four Year Strong were pretty mad as well, and Enterk Shikari was epic. So stoked that they played The Jester, no Johnny Sniper though. And I'm glad I chose them over ADTR because from the sounds of it Jeremy was atrocious.

Anything of Frogstomp is just awesome.
ACDC for your first concert will certainly be a whole new experience for you.
