I'd so love to see Roar with Smeltz in the ACL! They'd be near unstopable in the A-League. He could even be classified as a marquee if need be.

We probably could, but there is a difference between having the cash and fitting all players under the cap. We'd love to keep Frannie J, but apparently it will be a real squeeze trying to fit his wages under the cap. Beats me as to why they don't just make him marquee when his current deal expires, unless they've got someone else lined up. :-k

As for the 10,000 strikers, not too many of them are effective. :lol:

There's no way we could afford him. He's the proven best striker int he league 2 years running. I'd say either back to GCU, Perth or Sydney. Jets could afford him these days but they have about 10,000 strikers on their books already.
