Some people here coach senior men's teams.
I've had a few sessions with pretty good female adult senior players, but I haven't touched on senior male players, veterans of mixed ability, over 35s. I will be in a role where I will be taking some sessions with them in a club. The regular coach says they often think they know all there is to the game.
Many of them will be pretty one footed. I don't want to demonstrate and then ask them to perform technical stuff they perceive they are not capable of doing, but I still want them to develop technically as part of TIC.
Any tips from experienced coaches of senior players, particularly playing social football?
