Rumour has it they will be heading to the courts
They have big finsncial problems and ex president Alex Soubevski sorry about the spelling is owned money and the ex commitee is owned large sum of money will be taking them to courts.
Looks like they had no money and we be lucky to survive the season or get relegated
Your thoughts guys Hard times for Bankstown City Lions Interesting days ahead

Im guessing many clubs were happy to sit out a year to get their houses in order. i personally am glad its gone back to winter for two main reasons: 1. no 12 mth break 2. no clash with the a-league (and yes there are some fans out there who do go to both PL games and watch sydney fc) i dont believe the summer comp would of resulted in larger crowds for PL clubs. end of the day, majority of PL supporters will go to their games regardless of whether its winter or summer. anyway, FFA got their way.

You just proved you have no idea about football, sydney fc would suffer if the comp was in summer not the other way around four clubs fought to stay in summer and only one had the balls to stand up and say it, that club is the glorious Olympic! If you must know summer is better no clashes with people playing football, no clashes with NRL, because lets get real who watches Sydney City FC anyway a few eastern suburbs folk and some north sydney geezes

If you must know summer is better no clashes with people playing football, no clashes with NRL, because lets get real who watches Sydney City FC anyway a few eastern suburbs folk and some north sydney geezes can you read? seriously. my response alluded to the fact that it was not a good idea to summer for the reason that sydney fc would suffer due to clashes with PL games. unlike narrow minded supposed supporters such as yourself, who fail to look at the bigger picture, most football supporters in NSW realise that we need sydney fc to be strong because they are the only sydney team in the a-league, and a weak sydney means a weak a-league. now you might dream about olympic one day re-emerging into the big time, as fanciful as that might be, but for 99% of fans, we know it wont happen and nor should it. theres a place for clubs like olympic, and its the state leagues, simple. i say that about my own club too. your glorious olympic stood up for summer for its own reasons, namely, it knew belmore was being redeveloped and would be out of action for winter, and secondly, to raise some cash. oh and it wasnt only olympic who stood up to say it fool. go speak to one of your club's administrators for verification. oh and please, if youre going to make sweeping comments about sydney's fan base, get your facts right. yes there is a percentage from the eastern suburbs, but there are equally as many if not more from the inner west, and the shire, and believe it or not, some travel from the west. its pointless talking to kids but one hopes that even kids like you can be taught to think a little.
