The Palestinian empire was defunct then, clearly they have no authority to claim the land using Zim's logic. Argument over, back to your daily lives.

Id admit, Davis never used abuse or anything in the PMs. He basically said, and im paraphrasing:

"Stop spouting anti-Israel hating propaganda. Your views are disgusting"

I dont keep using that mentality. Im simply stating that i cant keep doing this shit. I came out and gave a fair opinion and actually argued for both sides. Davis and the like came out and pretty much called me out on what i said and accused the Arab nations of being at fault for everything.

I dont need to spend my time dealing with people who refuse to acknowledge that Palestine has the right to be a state and carry on like Israel are the victims of the world. I am for both countries being their own states, but when my religion is constantly attacked at every little opportunity, then i cant keep doing this.

No one in this thread has attacked Islam or called Arab country's evil. Most if them are on their side on this issue FFS. You can't just keep using that mentality when trying to debate with someone. You need to stop being so sensitive whenever something vaguely to do with Islam is mentioned.

The defensive attitude is why some people dislike it so intensely.

I honestly did not read your last post because i cant do this shit again. Every single time a topic like this comes up, people go on about how Palestine is oppressing Israel and that the Arab countries are the evils of this world.

I just cant keep doing this shit. Islam has been knocked so many times on this forum and Palestine has been ridiculed and dragged through the mud, and whilst i can sit here and take a lot of it and have open dialogue and get on well with most of you, i cant constantly take this crap about my religion and Palestine.

Again wrong. The mandate system was meant to support the mandated areas until they were able to stand independently. Jordan was also a British Mandate that became an independent country.
The British had in the 1917 Balfour Declaration declared that they supported the piece of land becoming a Jewish homeland. That was also part of the plan when the mandate was set up.

Also between 1948 and 1967 Arab nations controlled parts of the piece of land and they did not give the land to a separate state but kept control of it for themselves. Yet now they expect Israel to do what they failed to do.

Why should Israel give up the West Bank when Jordan failed to do so when it had control over it from 1948 to 1967?

Why is it wrong for Israel to claim control over land it won during a war when the Arabs thought it was right to invade and destroy Israel so that they could claim control over land that they would have won by war?

Wrong. The British did not take a piece of land that was not theirs. The British were given Mandate over a piece of land by the League of Nations following World War I. The British and the State of Israel both gained control over that piece of land due to decisions made by organisations made up of nations of the world.

Technically speaking it was Britain's. The previous owners being the Ottoman Empire renounced their sovereignty over Palestine in the Treaty of Ankara in 1921.

So the british took a piece of land that was not theres and with the UN, Israel was created. Arab countries were not happy that their land was taken so decided to take their land back, Israel said no and instead chose to expand and in the process have ignored every single UN resolution along the way.

The British mandate over the area that became the State of Israel. The United Nations voted to that that area of land should become the State of Israel. So the state of Israel came into being and it has defended that land against the attacks of its hateful and aggressive neighbors who wished to destroy it.

As you very well know unless you are thicker than a pile of planks I was saying it does not matter that a map from 1709 (or whatever the date was) did not recognize the state of Israel because the state of Israel did not exist in 1709.

I am all for separate Israel and Palestinian states. But im not going to sit here and say that the current situation is justified and legal, because we all know its now.
