Speaking of pet peeves, one that gets me is when someone edits an already edited post but leaves the former edit note on it.

I edit my posts quite regularly, mostly due to spelling mistakes or I've typed not as fast as I've thought and I'm just missing words. So I am no stranger to the edit function of this forum. But if I edit something for a second time, I like to delete the first automatic edit note which pops up so I don't just have rows of edit notes.

There's one forum user that I can never remember the name of, I think he's an Adelaide supporter with a Socceroo player avatar (but an old picture, with a green Socceroos jersey on, and from vague memory the Socceroo might have a mullet). And man, it felt like every time he posted he had at least 3 edit notes.

All those edits and you still couldn't select the right 'your' ;)

pv4, what about grammatical errors? I write EDIT only if I want to delete a post.

:lol: grammatical errors don't bother me greatly because I'm sure I am pretty bad at it plus I feel sympathy for all the victims of auto-correct in the world.
