My god Australia is 1890's Colonial British in its attitudes towards Male/Female interaction. Not sure on the full story of this bloke, but the uproar about it is more to do with Aussie women not liking the boys having a crack.

ONTROVERSIAL pick-up artist Julien Blanc — whose tactics include choking and pulling women into his crotch — is moving his seminar to a secret St Kilda location.

Reports emerged about 5pm that a group of Blanc’s followers, calling themselves “Puss-ay Patrol”, were on the loose at The Wee Chief bar on St Kilda’s Fitzroy St.

The #takedownjulienblanc social media campaign has vowed to follow Blanc and his devotees from their meeting point at the St Kilda Pier at 6.30pm tomorrow.

Blanc was due to speak at a seminar at the Como Hotel in South Yarra, but the hotel cancelled the booking after a 10,000 strong online petition.

Meanwhile, protesters have been phoning venue owners warning them not to take bookings from Julien Blanc’s company, Real Social Dynamics.

Encore co-owner Angela Dawson said the company had tried to book a function at her venue for tomorrow night.

By 'average Aussie male' do you mean 'bloke who doesn't know how to talk to women' - because, really, it's not f*cking hard to talk to a woman, and so long as you're not a dick it's not difficult to get from talking to 'getting laid'.

Totally agree Ben, but it's more to do with the hysteria around this bloke's trip. Gives a chance for Australia's feminist movement to have their say, as opposed to discussing good 'male-female interaction relations' which is the underhanded issue no one is touching here.
