Also what ever happened to Lone Star? Didn't some really fucked up shit happen with Lone Star? Yep. People killing themselves and their hygiene wasnt up to standard. Hell one health inspector found bodily fluids on a bench top . Still think Sizzler should return.

Also what ever happened to Lone Star? I remember Lone Star...those used peanuts shells that littered the ground... From memory they shut up shop pretty quick. i thought their stuff was good...the problem was the demand for that sort of food back then wasnt high. if they were around now they would do well

Tiny & Pala thoroughly enjoyed their Mr. Crackles experience. :) Next time I'll come with ya, been meaning to go for ages.

Taste of Texas BBQ in Waitara near Hornsby is good. Tornados Grill in Bonnyrigg was good, too Oxford Tavern does lots of good American food (do burgers too but they have heaps of other stuff, highlight being the animal style tater tots) Messina of course for gelato

Had a $50USD steak in America. Worth every single penny.
Said it in the Hamburger thread, the only fast food I want here, of the ones I tried, from America is Jimmy John's.

I'm still butthurt at the fact Sizzler only exists in QLD We have it in WA. Nothing beats a hungover sizzler buffet breakfast.

Cityslicker10 wrote:After reading the hamburger and chip thread I thought, What are some other places (obviously not hamburger and chips) that you have gone to or go to that you enjoy.
Melbourne has a few good pubs around which have some ripper parmas. There is one particular spot called MRS Parmas. The long list of Parmas is unreal. Has 4 different types of chilli and takes 4 days too make. Also has a nice list of beers.!
So if you are in Melbourne and fancy a quality Parma that's your spot.
Ill throw out there a throwback..... All you can eat pizza huts.... No longer around here in Victoria.
So what's your place to go?
or fond memories of somewhere ?
or a place the came and went so quickly?
I miss the Boston Market Franchise...with their roasts. Harrys Cafe De Wheels is da shitznitz

Went to a Dennys in NZ. All I knew was that place is all over America. The size of the dishes are unreal. No wonder Merica has a weight problem
