Star player: Eriksen. Definitely the Croatia, Serbia level opponent where a loss would likely seal elimination. Going to be a great one.

Game has been moved to Wednesday 10pm AEST 2pm CET time so it makes sense. Was this match originally scheduled for the slot 3 hours later or was that an error on my part?

This game will be before France vs Peru. Who knows where both sides will be standing after this? Draws often keep things alive until the last match day.

Eriksen won't face Sweden due to his wife's giving birth.
Sweden were incredibly boring in 2016. They turned things around in qualifying and got better. It'll be an interesting match.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Is that a first XI sans Eriksen?

+xIs that a first XI sans Eriksen? Yeah probably. Perhaps Schöne would get ahead of Kvist. The names and careers in the side are amazing Lots of experience at the top level.

Sweden Denmark currently on sky sports news Germany. Denmark robust and Sweden appear similar to Australia. The similarity is there appears to be a lack of what to do once getting possession. BVM wants quicker ball movement Sweden not doing that currently.

Sweden Denmark ends 0:0. Sweden kept out well. Denmark will be hard to break through. Austria beat Germany 2:1. Germany were woeful.

Concerning if Mark Milligan starts at centre back, I reckon. Not the quickest. The Danes will press fast.

Ok, so Arzani is legit crazy. DO we give him more minutes off the bench next game with an idea to start him in the 3rd game.

I wouldn’t start Arzani or rogic in the next two games. Bring them both on in the second half when the game opens up.

+xOk, so Arzani is legit crazy. DO we give him more minutes off the bench next game with an idea to start him in the 3rd game. Van Marwijk was pretty clear in saying that Arzani wasn't ready for more than a cameo at the moment so as much as a lot of people (including me, want to see it, it is unlikely. At least he is now definitely locked in for Australia for the future.

I'd replace jedi for luongo but otherwise unchanged squad. I would make the same subs too but with arzani coming on 10 mintues earlier every match he plays
