+xNow the recriminations and post mortems begin. The selectors will determine who from this squad will turn out for the India series. Lets run a report card on this team . Usman Khawaja - PASS 9/10 Aaron Finch -PASS 8/10 Shaun Marsh- FAIL. 3/10 Mitch Marsh - FAIL. 4/10 Travis Head- PASS 7/10 Marnus Labuchagne- PASS 8/10 Tim Paine - PASS 7/10 Mitchell Starc - FAIL 4/10 Peter Siddle- FAIL 4/10 Nathon Lyon - PASS 8/10 John Holland - FAIL. 4/10 Comments: I have made a couple of tweaks to that list on reflection.

+x+x+x+x+xLabu definitely one of the positives this tour, still not sure if his batting is good enough yet to be a legitimate option in that regard. Might need to take the Smith route and focus on his batting a lot more to take the next step. He is showing at the moment it up to standard CitySam He's looked great this test, but his first class average leaves a lot to be desired to be a really good option. It does. Imagine the confidence he will now have going forward. He has got a start in most of his innings.. more than we can say for some of our more established boys. What do you like to be called mate? Just call me Sam You got it.

Labuchagne's brave vigil comes to an end trying to take the battle to the enemy. He can hold his head high.
Only a matter of time before Pakistan completes a well deserved series victory. Well played by them.

+xIt looks like Shah has bottled Starc LBW.6-145 - shocking collapse. KW the collapse was an hour earlier. Head, Finch, Marsh and Paine in the blinking of an eye.

Abbas was pretty amazing. He dominated on Asian pitches bowling at fast medium.

This CricInfo commentator said it all: The hero of the session without doubt was Mohammad Abbas, who ripped the fight out of Australia by picking up four wickets in the first hour. I may add he has been the hero of the entire series. Pretty much the difference between the two sides.

+x+x+xGood question about Abbas, Baggers. A good line and length with excellent seam position and you'll trouble anyone on any pitch. ...and Siddle isnt a good line and length merchant? Abbas has given him a lesson how to bowl in Asia. Another question. How is Abbas' record outside of Asia? Siddle's lack of matches in Asia has always bothered me, in his very few tests away he has been very decent. Prior to this tour he was the pick of our pace bowlers in 3 of his 6 Asian tests.

+x+x+xI wanna see Mitch Marsh go after this bowling.. Dont wait for the good one to get you..take em on... mentally Bugger he did not have time. Abbas is killing us this series. The inevitable collapse has begun. This really is hard to take. Paine lets one go and it cannons into his stumps. Good one Tim. Abbas has this ball on a string. Why can he produce this nip back in off the seam and our our blokes cant.

+x+xBilal LBW Marsh, but overturned on review. Marsh bowled by Hamza. See ya SOS nice knowing you. Siddle, Holland wicketless. These two veterans needed to step up to the plate. They did not.

Just when he hits some Asian form. Expect he will now be out of the India series.
