Brisbane vs Adelaide tonight 

It will be interesting to see if there are any flow on effects from the WC crowd wise. Hopefully Roar can eke out a win, 2 - 1.

Adelaide have been pretty to watch and have some young talent. Since the bakries took over ive felt less and less attachment to the roar as they run the club into the ground and will just watch the game to enjoy

What do people think about the Brisbane players giving Goodwin a guard of honour before the game?

I think it's weird and instinctively hate it but the comments online were all congratulating Brisbane for the gesture.

It's one thing his home crowd giving him a standing ovation when he is subbed on/off but the Brisbane players?

Agree to an extent, but not enough to really care about it. Understand these kinds of gestures when a player has had a big impact on the league, and is playing their last game before retirement etc, but being one of the better Socceroos players at a world cup? Not sure about that.

Was definitely excited about the A-League being back, but have obligations tonight during the game and was instantly reminded that Paramount Plus STILL doesn't have pause/rewind functions etc. The World Cup break would have been a great opportunity for them to get something implemented, but no luck it seems.

Noting the best way this league will advance in the short term is to harness the success of the Socceroos I can understand it. 

On a personal level I think we should be celebrating these players, it gives the players a level of acknowledgement for not only participating but succeeding at a the greatest level.

AU should be winning this at least 4-nil they have had like 20 shots 

Roar have had  a few chance but overall they are proper shit upfront
