Hi Fozzie I'll answer your question as it was my decision to introduce it and my decision to not continue with it this season. We trialled it for a season and I'm glad you agree the content was first clarsh....we hoped we might find some additional readers who enjoyed seeing the second tier of the game presented in the manner we produce our content....unfortunately on the key parameters on which we judge the success of our content - copy sales and ad revenue - we didn't see an uplift in either and we have to balance providing the breadth of content across the mag and this site with being a business. It's not really a fair comparison to compare the state leagues of Australia with 3 fully professional leagues in England. The Championship, League One and League Two had 27 clubs who this season had better crowd averages than the A-League average and I would say all 72 teams average more than all bar a couple of Australian state league teams. We still offer fans of the state leagues regular coverage on this web site for free. Maybe you'd like to offer a comparison of our two web sites - head to www.soccerinternational.com.au and then come back and tell us how we rate.
