well...assuming that Switzerland comfortably account for Honduras, a draw will be enough for them to go through. Brazil will be pleased with taht, topping the 'group of death' only for Spain to be waiting in the round of 16.
Lets assume Switzerland account for Honduras which they should then Spain would need a win a draw wouldn't be enough.
Spain are on 3 points as are Switzerland. If Switzerland win they go to 6 points and Spain would need a win to go through and rely on GD to get them through.
A draw against Chile would see them on 4 points and out.

They should be able to deal with Chile regardless tbh.
People would have said they should have dealt with Honduras and Chile a lot better then they did.
They have struggled so far and struggled against Honduras until a moment of brilliance from Villa and a deflection got them the win they need.
Tbh he looked like the only one who looked likely to scored.
Against Chile it will be a totally different proposition to Honduras or Switzerland and I think they will struggle to a draw and be knocked out.

That was a mildly amusing moment. He probably should have been booked for it, but wasn't THAT big a deal tbh.

Villa 'not proud' of slap

Spain striker David Villa admits he is not proud of his slap on Honduras defender Emilio Izaguirre.
The newly-recruited Barcelona man scored twice during the Group H clash on Monday, but also missed from the penalty spot.
Japanese referee Yuichi Nishimura took no action as Villa struck Izaguirre in the face as they waited for a free-kick to be taken in the first half.
And the 28-year-old says he just reacted out of instinct when raising his hands towards Izaguirre.
He told Canal Plus: "It's not something that I am proud of. They're just instincts, in this case I wasn't expecting (Izaguirre) to tread on me.
"I was merely standing there and the reaction was to stick my arm out. I'll try in future to keep my cool."
Fifa will wait to receive the referee's report from the match between Spain and Honduras before deciding whether to take any retrospective action against Villa.
A Fifa spokesman said: "At the moment we have no information on David Villa. We will wait for the referee's report before making any decisions."
Spain picked up a vital three points against Honduras and now face a crunch game against Chile on Friday.

Would a massive massive loss for Spain if he is rubbed out. Of course he won't be but they really would be in the shit if he was.
