Taylor Lewan to us at #11 after our 2 main targets, Gilbert and Barr went #8 and #10 respectively. The more i think about it the happier i am. Was disappointed at first but reading into it, we have a guy that can play on both sides, has 2 solid veterans to learn from and can probably take over and hold a starting position for 8-10 years. Cant really complain.

Draft day is finally here!

1. Houston Texans: Jadeveon Clowney (DE): The best player in the draft, the Texans can wait until the second round to pick a QB like McCarron or Garoppolo to cover QB when they've got the prospect of Watt and Clowney opposite each other.

2. St Louis Rams (From Washington Redskins): Sammy Watkins (WR) - The top WR in the class, they need a true #1 wide-out for Bradford and unless a team offers something special for the #2 pick or Bradford they've got no reason to take Manziel.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Johnny Manziel (QB): Having a reliable guy under center who can take advantage of Blackmon, Shorts and Denard will make huge differences in Jacksonville.

4. Cleveland Browns: Blake Bortles (QB): A prototypical franchise QB, with the strength of the Browns O-line he's the perfect fit.

5. Oakland Raiders: Greg Robinson (OT): After losing Veldheer they need a blind-side OT and Robinson is the "pick him and forget the position for a decade" type player.

6. Atlanta Falcons: Khalil Mack (OLB): despite pressing concerns at TE they've also got issues in the pass rush and Mack is too good a talent to ignore.

7. Tampa Bay Bucaneers: Mike Evans (WR): V-Jax needs help. There's nobody drawing defenders and the departure of Mike Williams only makes that worse. Evans has the potential to be a long-term #1 WR with size and speed. Questions surrounding his route running will have to be answered.

8. Minnesota Vikings: Teddy Bridgewater (QB): The Vikes GM has come out saying the decision to take a QB in the first round is a tough one but they can't persist with Ponder. Bridgewater has the potential to become an elite QB and help them challenge for the NFC north.

9. Buffalo Bills: Jake Matthews (OT): The Bills gave up 48 sacks last season, 4th most in the league and that line needs to be consolidated.

10. Detroit Lions: Anthony Barr (OLB): There's a lot of needs on the defence for the Lions and they need to get more pressure on the QB - they only had 33 sacks last season - third worst in the league.

11. Tennessee Titans: James Gilbert (CB): There's a concern about the amount of depth at Corner for the Titans this season. McCourten aside they face being badly exposed down the sidelines.

12. New York Giants: Eric Ebron (TE): A glaring need in a side which used to have so many weapons on offence.

13. St Louis Rams: Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix (S): There's a big hole over the middle of the field and a big play-making Safety like C-D is exactly what they need. I'm hoping the packers can trade up to #12 and nab him because he's a huge talent.

14. Chicago Bears: Aaron Donald (DT): The Bears have bulked up their pass rush and now they need someone to partner Paea who can push around and bully the pocket. At 6'1" and 285lb questions remain about Donald's size however.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers: Dee Ford (DE): There's a real lack of strong pass rushers on the Steelers' roster, leaving way too long for the QB to throw and leaving their secondary well exposed.

16. Dallas Cowboys: Kony Ealy (DE): They desperately need to replace DeMarcus Ware and reaching for Ealy is just Jones' style.

17. Baltimore Ravens: Taylor Lewan (OT): Best available player and would give them options in the run game.

18. New York Jets: Jace Amaro (TE): Everyone knows that Rex Ryan likes to take a defensive player in the first round but they need more weapons for Vick and a pass catching TE fits the bill.

19. Miami Dolphins: Zack Martin (G): After the Incognito controversy they need to find reinforcements for the O-line. Albert is in to replace Jonathan Martin, Zack Martin is a big 'set and forget' type Guard who'll fill Incognito's shoes with aplomb.

20. Arizona Cardinals: Derek Carr (QB): This may be a bit of a reach taking Carr in the first round, but the lack of talent pushing Palmer is deafening and if it works out Carr could turn them into contenders.

21. Green Bay Packers: Calvin Pryor (S): The Pack had massive issues at safety, being the only team with no INT's from a safety last season. If Pryor falls to the Pack at 21 his selection is a cinch.

22. Philadelphia Eagles: Darqueez Dennard (CB): Very leaky secondaries characterised the NFC East least season and a shutdown corner would be coveted in Philly.

23. Kansas City Chiefs: Marquaise Lee (WR): Avery is a mediocre #2 for Bowe at best and Lee's route running is some of the best since AJ Green and Julio Jones.

24. Cincinnati Bengals: CJ Mosley (ILB): Rey Malauga needs help in the middle and with CJ Mosley still being on the board they'd be remiss to not take him.

25. San Diego Chargers: Kyle Fuller (CB): There's a dearth of talent in the Chargers' secondary and Fuller's strong showing at his pro day will have caught their attention.

26. Cleveland Browns (from Indianapolis): Brandin Cooks (WR): Questions about on the reliability of Little and Burleson. Cooks has elite hands and will give them the chance to throw a few different looks next season.

27. New Orleans Saints: Louis Nix (DT): Nix is the best available player and would add flexibility and skill to an inexperienced Defensive Line.

28. Carolina Panthers: Odell Beckham jr (WR): The Panthers are desperate at WR and they'll take any they can get. Beckham is the best available at #28 but I see them trading up.

29. New England Patriots: Rasheed Hageman (DT): The Pats have made it pretty obvious that they're looking for Wilfork's protege. A former TE, Hageman's size and speed is ideal and learning from Wilfork will make his 'boom or bust' type prospect more likely to boom in a big way.

30. San Fransisco 49ers: Ryan Shazier (OLB): With Smith facing a large portion of the season on the sidelines (and possibly in jail) they're going to need reinforcements at LB.

31. Denver Broncos: Xavier Su'a-Filo (OG): Injuries on the O-line were brutally exposed in the Super Bowl by the 'Hawks and more interior cover will be at the top of their 'to do' list.

32. Seattle Seahawks: Timmy Jernigan (DT): They don't really need a DT, but they don't have many needs full stop and as defending champions they've got the luxury of taking the best available player.

Upon further reading, a 10 year lease was agreed in 2012 with a $400m buy out progressively decreasing to $20m in 2019.

Doesn't mean they can't buy the team and wait out the lease while they build a suitable stadium in Toronto. MLSE have the dough to make it happen.

Moving them to Toronto would cost over $400m just to break the lease on their stadium. Won't happen.

I’ve read a lot of articles in Toronto-based media about moving the Bills to Toronto permanently, mostly from the point of view of the affect on the Toronto Argonauts and the CFL. I doubt Bon jovi would be anything more than a minority partner but there is a lot of noise around the MLSE bid.

Donald TrumpWhat do Donald Trump, Jon Bon Jovi, and Jim Kelly have in common? All of their names have come up as prospective buyers of the Buffalo Bills, as reported by The Associated Press.

The future of the Bills has been up in the air following the death of owner Ralph Wilson. His wishes to sell the team rather than pass it on to his family opened the doors for many potential buyers (Erie County deputy executive Richard Tobe told the AP there could be as many as 10) and also made relocating the team a possibility. Buffalo is the NFL’s second-smallest market.

Trump, who has been very vocal about wanting to own the Bills, has said that he would keep the team in Buffalo. Jim Kelly, whose brother Dan Kelly said he would still actively pursue purchasing the team despite his battle with sinus cancer, spent his entire NFL career with the Bills. One could assume Kelly would also keep the team in Buffalo.

Bon Jovi is the biggest question of the three. Bon Jovi is linked to Larry Tanenbaum, chairman of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, which controls the Toronto Raptors and Toronto Maple Leafs. If the two were to purchase the Bills, they would have to move the team to Toronto, as NFL ownership rules do not allow owners to control other major sports teams in separate markets. However, relocating the team under the terms of its current 10-year lease at Ralph Wilson Stadium would incur a $400 million penalty.

Formal bidding for the Bills will begin once Wilson’s estate hires a firm to reassess the value of the franchise and oversee negotiation.
