Minor premiers are the team that finishes first after 26 rounds in the NRL, because the team that wins the NRL Grand Final are called the Premiers. In football, its premiers for the team that finishes first, and champions for the team that wins the final.

In football first past the post are rightfully rewarded with a NPL national playoff birth or an automatic Asian Champions League spot. This is Major not Minor.

2 regular season games left in the FFSA NPL conference and the top 4 teams are separated by 1 point.
Very tight race but one of these teams will be in the NPL national playoff.

Adelaide Blue Eagles v Port Adelaide Pirates is the match of the round. Blue Eagles need to win to give themselves a chance at being NPLSA representative in the national playoffs and a possible quarterfinal matchup at home against NPLWA Bayswater City and Port Adelaide Pirates need to win to avoid the drop to the State League. Very tight at both ends of the NPL table.

Edited by pv4: 30/7/2015 09:08:16 AM Isn't this the same qualification path as the previous two tournaments? Is money really that tight that they rig the draw to avoid cross-country travel? It's only a 7 game tournament. Open up the draw!
